"Ordered stuff through amazon. It took 9days to get delivered and I am in Ohio. Not to far from Grady's. When product arrived it was all wrong. The packing slip and invoice had the right description and product number. But the product is wrong!!! So irritated!! No I'm waiting through amazon who contacted Grady's to give me a return slip. I just want my money back at this point. I hope amazon kicks vendors off there site after so many bad reviews!!"
"I placed an order through Sears.com for TWO Kaytee Finch 2 Stations on 10/23. The transaction was posted to my credit card on 10/25. As of 10/31/2016, I have still not received a confirmation of the order, nor have I received any shipping. A call just now (10/31 @ 2:40 PM EST to (763)390-7052 encountered a recorded msg. for any information for my issue and said they would call back. From previous comments, I don't see much hope other than they are getting an interest free loan at my expense. All other internet sources have confirmed orders with-in minutes with an accompanying message of gratitude. "Buyer be ware". for GRADY'S Online"
AVOID THESE SHYSTERS
"I placed an almost $400 order with them on 4/4/16. They IMMEDIATELY charged my card so I assumed that my order shipped. No tracking info was sent, no confirmation email. The only way i have anything to verify my order is that i emailed the placed order confirmation page to myself. I called them today, 4/27 and asked where my order was. She said was cancelled for lack of inventory. WHEN? She couldn't tell me. WHERE'S MY MONEY? Given to credit department to process credit. WHEN? Can't tell me when. Can i speak to them? No. They sent request to Paypal to process credit. WHEN? Can't tell me, "Im new here." Funny thing is, I didn't use Paypal. I WILL be contacting my credit card company. "
Avoid Grady's unless you want a huge hassle
"I made the mistake of recently purchasing an item from Amazon that was fulfilled by Grady's and it was among the bottom of the barrel of online commerce experiences. I only wish I had seen all of the other reviews here first so I could have avoided the trouble. Grady's is just one of those businesses that don't like customers. They just want your money and nothing else. If I could give them a no star rating I would. Those guys are horrible. I don't know how they stay in business. I won't be making the mistake of giving them my business again. In fact, this encounter has dissuaded me from shopping at Amazon."
"i ordered a concentric pump for my evaporative cooler from this vendor. the display featured a picture of the pump, but the written description was for weather stripping. i did not notice the written part until later as the photo contained all information i required to purchase. i contacted gradys via amazon to confirm the contents of the package but they were not sure so i refused the package at the post office. the package was returned to some place in minnesota where it sat for two weeks before anyone at gradys took any action. finally, after almost two months of dealing with this order, they informed me because i had ordered in error they would charge me $13.01 for return postage. i had remitted $28.94 for this product and they refunded $5.98. they are extremely slow, very deceptive, and sloppy about display ads, and i suspect this is true about every aspect of this business. they are a company to be avoided in all circumstances. i would award zero stars to this company and hope they are bankrupt very soon."
"Have been dealing with them for over a month now on trying to get a specific screwdriver that I ordered. They said they shipped it USPS but the tracking number is FedEx and FedEx shipped it to a PO box and was declined at the USPS. The product went back to a PO Box in MN. and has been setting there for 2 weeks now. The phone number they have goes to a voicemail and no one calls you back. Sent customer service an email and they respond once a day no matter how many emails you send. NIGHTMARE!!!!!!! "
"I ordered a can of Briwax on July 24th, it was supposed to be received today or until August 6th. Also on July 24th I ordered items online from 4 other vendors. All these items have been received but not from this vendor.Their shipping is way too slow. I will not order from them again."
"I placed an order with them on 5/1/2014. They claimed that the product I ordered was in stock and ready to ship. I received an email confirmation with my order no. stating: "Once the order has shipped we will send you a tracking number." After a week and no tracking number, I called and sent emails. No one is answering the phone so I left messages. I sent emails asking for an update with no response. I finally called my credit card company and disputed the charge and asked that it be removed. Even after that I have received no response of any kind. I wish I could give them less than one star. Stay far, far away from this company."
"Ordered circuit breaker through Amazon marketplace. Had a popup warning that there may be a problem with the seller, product, shipping method, or shipping time. Knowing Amazon's reputation, I risked it not caring about shipping problems and assuming Amazon wouldn't allow a merchant to remain as a seller if there were major problems. Received my breaker some time later, no product packaging or label - it seemed to have been a used one stripped from an old breaker box. Constantly in the tripped position - couldn't even reset to Off, let alone On. Tested, used multimeter and ohm test. Even compared with a new one my local store finally had in stock. Very evident difference. Filed a claim that took days of correspondence back and forth until I gave up and searched avidly for a phone number. The emails just kept asking the same questions "Did you install it?" "What was the problem" "Did you test it?" and my final straw was when they again asked "Did you install it?"Called them, was told once again that she'd need to speak with her supervisor who was on lunch at 10:45am but she'd call back that afternoon. 2pm rolled around - no call back. I called, it rang and rang, no answer. I used a work phone from a different area code - picked right up. Clearly they are using sleazy avoidance tactics. To be sure, after I insisted on staying on the line, after I continually agreed to send it back so they could see how defective it is, after I positively went along with their hurdles - they finally said alright to a refund. The email I insisted they send claimed it would take 2 weeks to process (I have sold products for a Christmas gift store through Amazon and designed e-commerce shopping carts with live card authorizations - I know it shouldn't take this long with either or both hangups), so they simply want to wait out my deadline to file a claim through Amazon. But it's in writing, so I can always file a dispute with my card company."
"They know what they are doing. They advertise products that they know are not in stock they take your money, and then it's up to you the customer to chase them to make it right. I mean think about it,they probably make money on the people that don't follow up. I filed a dispute with my bank and reported them to the Federal Trade Commision which is what evryine shoud do so tat they can't do these things to people anymore. here is the Federal trade Commisions link to make a complaint. We need to keep this info up so paste it in our reviews also https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/Details#crnt Terrible online store... terribel! https://www.gradysonline.com one of the most horrible online shopping experience I have ever had."
"On 6/7/2013 I ordered Leech F26 construction adhesive from Grady's Online through Sears.com. At the time of ordering, the estimated date for shipping was June 17-19. Over 1 1/2 weeks for shipping? Went ahead with the order and patiently waited. 6/19/2013 came and went and no email with shipping info. Called Sears customer service, they originally directly me to UPS. What is UPS going to do if it had not even shipped yet. Called Sears again, got someone different and she told me to call or email Grady's myself. I told her, I ordered through Sears and I will deal with Sears. Sears had trouble contacting Grady's via phone, then email. On 6/20/2013 I received an email stating that Grady's did not have product in stock. What?? I have waited nearly 2 weeks for nothing. What's more shocking is the fact it took my inquiry through Sears just to realize Grady's did not have the product.1. If the product is not in stock DON'T ADVERTISE that it is2. I should have been notified IMMEDIATELY that vendor could not fulfill order.3. I CANNOT write a review of the vendor on Sears.comZero stars all around for both Grady's Online and Sears"
"I ordered a 22.5 inch grate for my Weber grill. I received an 18.5 inch grate. After 3 phone calls and 2 emails, the only resolution they offer is for me to send the one I have back and they will send another. Between shipping, restocking, and some other fee they came up with, the grate will cost more than double it's value. What a deal. It just boggles my mind that people can do business this way. "
"I placed on 2/29/2012 with Grady's Online with delivery promised by 03/08/12. Amazon sent me the following notice on 03/06/12: Unfortunately, Grady's Online has not confirmed the shipment of this order, and we are not able to provide you with shipment details yet.On 03/07/12 I had no further notification, therefore, I cancelled my order from Grady's Online. Magically, I then immediately received an email from Grady's Online firstname.lastname@example.org informing me that I could not cancel my order because the item had already shipped. I imagine that I will be hearing in another 5 to 8 days that my order is still in shipping."
"Terrible seller. Cancelled my order without any explanation, no apologies either. Avoid at all cost."
"Does not acknowledge order receipt. Shipped one week after order placed Uses slow USPS eight day shipping.Fortunately, purchased through Amazon and they will see that I am refunded."
