"We purchased blinds and one year three months later one of the blinds has started to tear in two of the places. They requested pictures so we sent the pictures. Apparently they are willing to replaces the blind. At the time we asked if they would allow us to modify the blind. We were assured that this was permissable and that there would be a nominal charge for the change. But after sending the pictures we had no response. We called back. We will not mention how long we were kept on hold. Sigh. But now it appears they are only willing to replace the blind. Any modification would constitute a new order we were told. Our advice. Choose another supplier. Blinds that last slightly more than one year are not worth the hassle. Customer service that does not respond and then when coerced to respond reverses what was you were previously told is simply not worth your money."
Can't seem to make them correct.
"I have two huge windows in my bedroom. BG was the only company that would make them that height I needed. It was 5 panels that were need to cover all the windows, they definitely weren't cheap. I had multiple conversations and emails about the type I wanted. I received the delivery pretty quick. They sat in my apartment till other work was done to install them. The installer finishes the job, I walk into the room and found out they sent the wrong blinds.. weeks on the phone again. finally they send us the correct blinds we ordered plus more money because they undercharged me the first they made them.Had the installer return which I had to pay again. (All the visits already cost me $450) They ended up sending 1 of the 5 panels incorrectly. 4 of the pull cords work one way and they'res a random one that works the opposite. I got in touch with BG again... the transition between the installed wrong one to the install of the new ones took a couple months.. there out of warranty!!! and he asked if I wanted to purchase a new panel.What is wrong with the company? Do you think they should just sent the correct panel at their cost?"
No instructions for installation
"There were no installation instructions enclosed with our blinds. Online instructions for our type of blind did not make sense and did not match the brackets sent with our blinds. What should have been a simple installation became much more difficult and time consuming because there were no instructions. Very frustrating and no excuse for not providing any simple instructions. I am a contractor and understand how to install blinds, so i was able to figure it out. I guess they want to force their buyers to use a professional installer. Also, the purchase instructions tell you to give exact measurements and they will make the blinds a little smaller to fit on an inside installation. However, the blinds were exactly the same size as the inside, making the blinds bind on both sides. "
Great experience with Blinds Galore (BG)
"Live in central Florida where the sun is brutal. Our new house has 3 skylights in the roof that allowed heat and light to heat up the living room to the point where the AC rarely shut off during the afternoon.Worked with a great, knowledgeable CSR, Robert E. they sent many samples of products before we selected the Bali double cell product. Robert walked me thru the selection process helping us at every step. Just great support.The items shipped on time and arrived completely intact. The first one took about an hour and 20 minutest to install, as the instructions were a little difficult to interpret and follow. The 2 remaining shades took about 20 minutes each. A little tricky but not too challenging.The look great on the ceiling. They keep the sun's heat out while allowing a soft light to enter the room.Accurate measurements are CRITICAL, as each shade is custom made to YOUR measurements.Just a great overall experience. Love the product. Appreciate the good service."

"I ordered a blind for our kitchen and it was exactly what I was looking for. The perfect color to complement our cabinets and it is very well made. I was a little nervous ordering online but called their customer service and they were great. I don’t remember her name but the lady I spoke to was great and sent me samples. The price was a little more than Target but this was made to order and not off the self. Hubby like it too and now it time to update the bedroom!!!"

terrible quality, terrible service
"DON'T BUY THE HONEYCOMB BLINDS! THEY ARE TERRIBLE. I bought many of these and every one behaves differently. I've been working with the company for 6 months. They still fall off the mounts (which are also terrible). Some don't go back up. The service is slow and never returns calls or emails. "
Very poor company with very shady business practices
"I would definitely not go by the color of their samples for one, because the order that we received looked completely different. And, when you call to tell them that you are dissatisfied with the color of the blind and the structure of the valance there are NO RETURNS WHATSOEVER. Additional they count any exchange that you have ever made with them towards your 4 exchanges. So apparently it is lifetime exchanges WHICH IS NOT CLEARLY STATED ON THEIR POLICY. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!"

"Guess I was lucky, had to cancel my order. Placed order on 12/1/15, got an email on 12/3/15 saying the estimated ship date is 3/9/2016. 2016!!!! So much for the "Order by 12/7 and receive by 12/25 or it's free*", back orders don't count. How can you be in business and a lead time of 13 weeks?"
"I wish I had taken the time to read reviews before making the purchase. I ordered a roller shade with a measurement of 281/2 inches, the shade was cut to 27 inches,a substantial discrepancy. When I called Customer Service, I was told to take a picture of the blind with a metal tape measure and email the photo back to them AND if the blind measured at least 27 and 1/16th inches it was within their specs and I was out of luck. I can not use the shade as you can imagine there are large gaps. Do not use this company ,even home depot does a better job and it is not their specialty. Save your money. I now have a $73.00 unusable item. "
"I actually found this website after I placed my order. I was a little worried at first but then the order came and the products were awesome. They were exactly as I measured and fit perfectly. So great to have a shade that fits my window instead of the old faux wood blinds that were cut to size at the store. "Very dissatisfied, 1st blind ready to install, end cap was off, 2nd blind went to install, the whole shade rolled off the blind roller. Looked at other blinds in their packing, some end caps were off.Did not want to put any more holes in our new home window casings and have the blinds roll off therefore we called Blinds galore and were very disappointed with the blinds and with the service, there was always someone going to call us the next day which never happened. We asked for a full refund as we felt the blinds did not meet the quality we were seeking, did not want replacement as we felt the same thing would happen again with this product. Our blinds went from Richmond to Alberta then came to us in BC due to wrong Postal Code on Packing Slip. We were called once and were awoken @ 6:35 a.m, we thought someone in the family was sick or injured, not a call at that time in the morning from Blinds galore customer service. We are still awaiting a call from a Manager as per our phone calls....none as yet. We keep trying to get somewhere with this issue."
"I was a little weary about Blinds Galore because of some bad reviews I saw online, but I decided to take a chance and I am SO glad I did. We ordered 8 sets of natural roman shades for our house, each window was a slightly different size. When the order arrived, it was packaged with great care, no parts missing and everything was in perfect shape. The blinds had all been cut exactly according to our specifications, they fit each window like a glove and they look amazing! Very high quality, expensive look at a steal compared to other custom window treatment options we had looked at (Lowe's and Home Depot to name a few). We purchased the black out lining for the windows in the bedrooms but opted for no lining on the windows in the living and kitchen area. Both kinds look perfect! I would definitely recommend using Blinds Galore! Just make sure that you measure your windows properly, I honestly think that's why other people have bad things to say about Blinds Galore, when the mistake was really on their own part in measuring their windows wrong. "
"A horrible retailer. poor quality at best and then refuse to take returns. save your money -- and buy elsewhere. I spent over $200 and have shades that are so low quality I would never hang them. So basically just out the money and spent another $200+ buying decent shades. What a waste....DO NOT BUY."
