Authentic products, safe packaging, fast in-stock shipment, Great Customer Service!!
“110% would recommend to anyone on the fence about trying Woozy Moo.
I recently had a very bad experience elsewhere online, so I was weary of using any figure-selling online shop with poor reviews. Woozy Moo didn't have any, so I checked the site for a while. I noticed that they updated it often when things went out of stock or when preorders ended. So someone MUST be paying attention and care about the customer's experience and the shop's integrity. It was a VERY good sign.
I ordered from what was in stock, the second it stopped being a preorder, and I got my items the next week (about 7-9 days). Items have authentic stickers, boxes are in great condition and unopened. The packaging for shipment was very safe. Products even happened to arrived with plastic slips over the boxes for protection as well. I have already placed a preorder with them for a future item, and I expect everything will go just as smoothly when I get that item.
Woozy Moo sends you email confirmations for purchase and then again for shipment, as well as a tracking number when your item is finally received on their end and being shipped out to you. Like I mentioned above, my item arrived on time, within 7-9 days. I could check shipping progress at any time via tracking number, and that was comforting.
Speaking as a collector, I hope they continue to stock SM merch; I would love to become a consistent shopper.”
“I just visited their site to check prices on new products and I read this note:
"It pains us to say this. Today after 5 years of helping collectors obtain their favorite action figures, statues and collectible goods we will be shutting down MHToyShop. Our number one goal has always been to provide customers with a reputable place to shop for their favorite hobby. After many years of operating at a loss to facilitate customers and with growing competition, trying to maintain the lowest pricing, difficult vendors, inconsistencies with item releases, merchant account limitations, unpaid customer invoices and increased pricing we can no longer keep the doors open. Our team has worked countless overtime hours to keep things afloat but no matter what we did we could not stop the downward spiral. To make matters worst our website was down for less than 48 hours and customers began to issue chargeback claims at an alarming rate before giving us the ability to explain the outage.
With that said, we'd like to thank all of the thousands of customers that supported us over the years and we hope you find a new shop that facilitates all of your collecting needs like we have or better. If you have any unfulfilled orders with us we will begin issuing customers refunds accordingly with whatever resources we have. To contact us it will need to be through our support email and not any other channels. We no longer own our Ebay, Amazon and social accounts as those were sold to fulfill customers orders. If contacting our support email, please be aware that some emails may go unanswered if your questions have been answered here. We now have limited staff able to fulfill and answer hundreds of order request. Once again, we'd like to thank all of the customers that have supported us over the years and we hope you continue your collecting hobby!
“I ordered a single Petit Chara Sailor Moon figure. It arrived in the mailbox, on time, in a small packaging envelope. For those of you that have purchased Petit Chara singles, you'll know they come in singles boxes per character. I wasn't given the box, or even asked if I wanted it, for some reason? I thought that was very odd, since I like to keep my Packaging for proof of authenticity.
Regardless the Petit Chara figure was indeed a NEW official one, still in unopened plastic in several pieces. And it was NOT a bootleg of low quality, so that was great. The condition was great and I am happy with the figure itself.
It did not receive a flaw through packaging+shipping, but I believe this could have been by luck. In the future, I suggest they sell the boxes with the figures, even if this means increasing the shipping price.
I didn't have to get in touch with the store for any reason, so I can not give any sort of input towards the quality of their customer service. ”
“I ordered the Chibiusa/Helios set from them. I had to cancel the first time. They responded by email within three days. Once I was able to order again, I purchased the Chibiusa/Helios set again and received it in the designated time that I had paid for shipping. The set was an official item, not a bootleg, and it was protected by plenty of bubble wrap, and the product was brand new with seals not tampered with. This was not a preorder, but the order of an item already in stock. So I can definitely give them two thumbs up for Customer Service, safe packaging, and proper shipping time for in stock orders. ”
“*Update: It is now July 24th 2017. I have been trying to contact Kirin Hobby to cancel 2 preorders SINCE June 24th 2017?!! I even opened a dispute with the bank. KH have not contacted me with an apology or ANY kind of reply. My preorders are still marked as "PAID" and have not been changed to "CANCELED" so I know they haven't refunded my money. Both Items are still not in stock so there is NO REASON why they can't simply cancel both and get this over with. They should follow their preorder policy rather than ignore their customers.*
I want to say that I have ordered from Kirin Hobby twice in the past, and those experiences were okay. The first was a prorder for a Sailor Moon Proplica. About a month later, I purchased additional preorders for two Sailor Scout figures. I ended up needing to cancel the 2nd preorder set of Sailor Scout figures. I called during their business hours, and no one ever picked up. Kirin Hobby eventually got back to me about a week later and canceled+refunded the second receipt. And I got my SM Proplica preorder at the very end of the month of the stated release. Not too bad. SO I FIGURED I'D TRY THEM AGAIN...
This time I purchased two preorders, on two separate receipts, in the same day. But after seeing the real product overseas, I didn't want the preorders anymore, so I emailed them to cancel. I figured it might take a week again, but after a week I got no responses. I sent more emails as the days went by. I left voice mails. I wrote facebook comments. I sent them facebook messages. And I got nothing back for over two weeks. 16 days. I wrote them an email letting them know i'd need to contact my bank to dispute, if they would not contact me back... nothing back from them. So I contacted my bank and the dispute has begun.
...My assumption is that they want the customer's money. They likely refunded my preorders before because they were still receiving $100+ from my pocket for the SM Proplica. So they weren't really losing out. This time I don't have any additional orders I plan on keeping, so they won't be getting any of my money... Either that, or they are patiently waiting to contact me UNTIL they have the preorders in their possession. Why? Because of their Preorder Policy: "Can I make changes to my preorder? Yes. You can make changes (ie. add, remove) to your preorder at any time. If an item is not yet being processed for shipping, there are no fees to make changes to the order. If you wish to cancel an item that is already being processed for shipping, we will attempt to make the changes requested. However, please note that the item may be anywhere in the shipping process (eg. picking, packaging, or shipped) or possibly picked up by the shipping courier (USPS, UPS), so we cannot guarantee we can make the changes requested. If we are able to make the changes requested, restocking fee of up to 20% may apply. If you wish to cancel an item that is already in stock and placed on reserve for your order, restocking fee of up to 20% may apply." So if they WAIT to contact me back until they have the figures, they can still have 20% of each figures... they won't completely be losing my money. But both figures have been listed as "Preorder" purchases on their site this entire time I've tried to contact them. AND They have not sent emails stating the items' status were updated to "instock".
They have only sent me 3 automated emails, during this now 17 day period, stating "Thank you for contacting us! Due to the high volume of emails received, we currently have a backlog of messages, so we're not able to respond to everyone right away. Please allow for some time to respond. For immediate assistance, please contact Customer Support by phone (available 2-6pm PST Mon - Fri) 510-477-9103. Thank you for understanding!" But I HAVE CALLED. During THEIR specified times. PST time zone! And I have left them voicemails with my full name, method of contact and order number, and a request to cancel. And yes, I did check my SPAM folder in my email and there was nothing there.
Please, don't be tempted by the lower prices. They're only listing them lower so they can entice people to take a chance. I've contacted one other customer during this time, and they are having issues with Kirin Hobby as well. Not able to get in contact with them They purchased three items on one receipt. Two of the three Preorders were set to arrive during the month of June... She received one of the June orders but not the second. And has received no update on the item. Kirin Hobby does not care about the customer. They only care about receiving your money. Spending the extra money on a trusted figure-selling website with good reviews is worth it. Please read reviews and do not ignore the negative reviews.”
