Showing items as In-Stock, but don't have any stock
“Both Beach Camera and BuyDig show that they have an item in-stock. After placing orders from them on EBay and Amazon and trying to contact them to confirm stock, I got no response from them and no shipping info.
Finally after calling, they confirmed that they didn't have either item in stock and that both items were really "pre-orders" even though both EBay and Amazon said they had the items in stock.
They show the pre-order items as in stock so that people will order from them instead of their competitors and then hope you don't mind waiting until they happen to get stock.
They should state on Amazon and EBay that the items are pre-orders.
Needless to say, I cancelled both orders and won't be doing business with them.”
“I received an e-mail with a 20% off coupon. So I bought a Rodelink microphone. When I bought it, the website did say it was back-ordered, but I was OK with that since the 20% off was a good deal.
I waited a month and checked back on their website. The Guitar Center website said the Rodelink was in-stock. So I called customer service and asked why my order hasn't shipped. They gave some BS excuse about how it might be in-stock in some stores, but not available for online orders. But when I place it in my shopping cart online, it says "in-stock and ready to ship." So the CSR told me it would ship out in the next day or two.
One week later, of course it was not shipped.
Two weeks later it still has not shipped. The whole time the same item shows in-stock and ready to ship on their website.
I finally just cancelled my order and lost my 20% off coupon too. Of course, the CSR at guitar Center didn't care. Now hopefully the order actually gets cancelled. We'll see.
“I ordered business cards from them and they shipped someone else's order to me. I called immediately to see how quickly they could fix their mistake. They told me that they can reprint the order but they will only do the reprint the same way I ordered them meaning it was going to take over a week to reprint the cards. What?! They make a mistake and then can't put a rush on it? I already waited over two weeks for my order to arrive initially.”
“They have no warranty information on their website for a Jawbone Era, brand new in retail packaging. I confirmed with All4cellular that it comes with a one year warranty through Jawbone and they said it's covered under Jawbone warranty. I then contacted Jawbone and they confirmed that All4Cellular is not an authorized dealer and they will not honor a warranty on any Jawbone products purchased at All4Cellular.com. I also tried to post a review on the All4cellular.com website stating that the Jawbone Era does not come with a warranty, but that review was never posted, of course.”
“I thought I got a great deal on a Garmin Nuvi 1450LMT. Now, 8 days later they cancel my order! They say that the description was wrong on their website and said it had Bluetooth even though all of us KNEW it did not. The model number was right and I knew exactly what I was buying.
So why cancel my order? Just ask me if I want to keep it or ask ME if I want to cancel.
They are basically realizing that they don't want to honor the price they were selling it for and this it their way out of it. Totally shady business practices.
They claim I can reorder the same thing at the same price, but the price on their website has gone up and the discounts they offered end up costing MORE than what I originally paid. Target's way of getting out of their obligation.
So now everyone is trying to call Target, but no one is answering the phone and the CSR's don't know what to do.
Thanks Target. I just hope enough people read these reviews and shop elsewhere. I know a handful of us doesn't make any difference to them, but who knows. Maybe enough people will boycott Target to make a difference. ”
“Do not expect fast shipping. They make their money on shipping so just because you paid for 2-day shipping doesn't mean you'll get it in 2 days. Shady business practices. They are just luring you in with low prices. No customer service. It's not worth it. Do not buy anything from them. If we all stop buying from them, maybe they will learn.”
