Stay Away From This Place

Save your money and go elsewhere. I made my first two purchases there on the same day, and that's two too many. They will not work with their customers if something is marked as non-returnable, not even if I offered to pay return shipping, pay a restocking fee, AND get store credit rather than credit back on my credit card. But nope, and the only reason I got the item in the wrong size was because its size was advertised as small when in fact it was pretty true to size.

Last but not least you have to sign up for a free Gilt Insider account in order to accumulate points for every purchase which should be automatic, and of course given how much they don't care for their customers (show me one site where Gilt has a positive customer rating) they will not give me points for my first two purchases because I wasn't a Gilt Insider. The reason I got for why people don't automatically get points for purchases is because some people don't like cashback. REALLY? At this point the rep abruptly left the chat room which is fine. I don't care about the points because I won't be shopping here and you shouldn't either.

This site's customer service is non-existent. I bought the wrong gift card, and attempted to call back right away to cancel the transaction. I was notified that there are 20 people in front of me, which was fine. After waiting for 25 minutes when it was finally my turn, I was suddenly told there are 17 people in front of me. At first I thought it was a glitch, so I waited another 25 minutes. When I'm again finally the 2nd person in line I was told again I'm the 18th person in line. The fact that I got pushed back twice during their normal "working" hours proves to me they have no customer service. They make you wait a long time hoping you'll just go away, and if you don't they will just push you back making you think there's a glitch. If you do business here, you better hope you won't ever need to contact them for anything.

Now I know why this site is called Daily Steals. The $150 "new" product I got from this place looks and functions like it was jacked from a speeding truck. The product was damaged and I'm now not getting any response from their customer "service". My advice is don't buy anything expensive on a suspect site like this. Daily Steals might honor small purchases, but don't expect to get a refund or replacement for something large.

Update November 6th:
I did get a full refund for this purchase. So Daily Steals does stand behind their words and refund customers for return of bad product. I'm still disappointed about this experience because I really liked the product. I finally gave up on a replacement because it will take another month for me to get it, so I opted for the refund instead. But I'm now more at ease about shopping there knowing there is merchandise guarantee. I just hope this experience doesn't repeat itself.

“We are very sorry about any inconvenience this may have caused. This item was shipped by our supplier and we have been trying to contact them to get a replacement per the customers request. We have contacted the customer with an update and hope to have this resolved as soon as possible.”
