"When I was booking my flight originally, the top banner in bright green said that there was "free cancellation for 24 hours" with no fees associated at all by calling their customer support line. I wasn't sure that it was the flight that I wanted, but I went ahead and booked it with that guarantee at the front of my mind. I found a different flight and decided to use the free 24 hour cancellation. Upon calling the line, I was told that there was going to be a $250 cancellation fee even though I was cancelling within 3 hours of the original booking. The customer service agent was condescending and repeatedly told me that on a later page in fine print at the very bottom, they say that there may be a fee for cancellation, but does not specify any amount. Apparently the bright green banner at the beginning of the booking process is just completely false.

After a long, frustrating call where I attempted to point out the complete contradiction and false advertising of the free 24 hour cancellation, they did finally waive the cancellation fee for me, but the customer service representative very rudely insisted that it was a one time exception and that I misunderstood their deliberately deceptive and confusing policies and was therefore in the wrong."
