"Very poor customer service. I pre-ordered a bunch of the new Dark Horse Ghostbusters comics. I didn't realize that the 2-day shipping would cost $23.99, while my purchase was only about $7. That was my mistake. On March 28th I went on their website to cancel the rest of my upcoming pre-orders. I also sent an email to see if the shipping amount was correct, and if it was the to cancel the rest of my orders. I received an automated message saying that someone would get back to me, but never did. But, since there was nothing on my pre-order page I figured it was all good.
Well, to my surprise on April 25th (a month later) I received an email that my next order was being processed and shipped using the 2-day shipping again, costing me another $23.99 on top of the cost of the comics. When I called to asked what happened they told me that my second pre-order actually wasn't canceled because it was past their "FOC" date. I was NEVER contacted by them to tell me that I wasn't able to cancel my second order and when I asked about my original email I was told that it was never received. I forwarded the original email I had sent and was told they switched their system, so they never saw it. Meanwhile, the text in the email literally says it was received. So, I'm having trouble seeing where that's my problem?
I can understand not being able to cancel my second order, but as an established company they should have taken responsibility for the fact that their system change cost me money. If I knew that my second order wasn't canceled I could have at least asked them to change the shipping method, but they took zero accountability and put it all on me. Lesson learned and I'll never shop here again. I'd rather support a store that actually cares about their customers."
