Unsent Flowers

"Flowers ordered for a funeral NOT delivered, even though after several phone calls they insisted they were delivered...spent way too much time arguing about it until finally they agreed to refund us. Awful experience to say the least..."

Birthday Gift Ruined!

"I ordered an orchid for my MIL's birthday. It arrived two days late, and the driver never even rang the doorbell. So it sat on her front porch in the sun for several hours until she happened to notice it was out there. When she brought it in, it was obvious the driver didn't want her to see it because the pot it was in was broken into several pieces. I contacted their customer service. The agent was very apologetic and said they would make it right by sending a new plant at no charge and giving me a $20 gift card for future orders. As if there will be any... The second plant never arrived. When I called customer service AGAIN, I was offered a third delivery attempt, which I declined. I told them I just wanted my money back, at which point I was told they were only authorized to give me HALF the money back. I asked why and got a canned, "it's all we can do" answer. This is the worst company and some of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN FOR ANYTHING! Buyer beware - avoid this company at all costs."

Don't believe the pictures

"Ordered a plant for a relative whose father in law had been killed. It LOOKED NOTHING like the picture. It was like comparing a twig to a tree. Complained, they agreed to send another one. They would only issue a partial refund so it was the best option. It arrived. Another crappy plant."

Horrible Experience

"I ordered a sympathy arrangement for a co-worker, notified the business of their hours (which the rep told me they couldn't guarantee delivery during that time), I agreed & asked them to give me a call once the delivery was en route. The arrangement got delivered to the wrong address, I didn't receive any phone calls. Their solution was to send a replacement order, I agreed, requested for them to deliver between the business hours since they were at fault, and asked them to please have the driver call me so I can make sure they get to the recipient. Again, I received no call, the sent a totally different arrangement from a different company, the arrangement was way smaller & nothing like my previous order (the flowers were terrible, some looked half dead already). I will NEVER order from them again, they DID NOT resolve my issue, nor gave great customer service..."

NEVER USE THEM

"1) If you are buying from Canada MAKE SURE to change to Canadian site as it will not redirect you as most sites do. I wasnt aware and thought i was looking at Canadian dollars only to be surprised from my bank statement.
2) I bought for a funeral service and they didnt have a ribbon as they normally do. They added only a small card that was not visible. I was deeply ashamed as it was for my brother and all the other flowers had visible ribbons.
3) I reached out to customer service to discuss the above and seek a refund for the extra amount charged and the poor quality. The first agent hang the phone on me. The second agent told me its supervisor would call me back but never did.

I strongly suggest going to your local florist and giving them your business as this global company doesnt care AT ALL for their customers.

Do not order from this website

"Do not order anything from this website. I ordered flowers for my mother's funeral,six days before the funeral,and I.never received the order.
My mother did not have the flowers for her funeral. In addition! To add insult to injury, after telling the customer service agent, that the funeral spray was for my mother's funeral, she asked me did I want her flowers delivered to my mother's home? Do you have the ability to deliver the flowers to Jesus,for that's where my mom is

The worst flower company in US. Avoid.

"My daughter had just bought a house and was having a house warming party on the 1st of July and we decided to send a nice bouquet of flowers since we ourselves could not be there to celebrate with her. The flowers were ordered more than three days in advance so that they would arrive on the 1st of July but they never did. I wrote to this 1800 flowers complaining that they had ruined it for us, but they then just ignored my email communication and showed me the customer service department which is almost impossible to reach. They have no email address to the customer service and the phone call is not answered. How do you react to a company that just takes your money and then conveniently forgets the service that they are supposed to provide and then refuses to answer your calls or email? Are there no law or rules in USA that reigns in this rogue company? My advice to all is please, please avoid 1800 flowers in future. My order number is W01005765572122."

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SEVICE

"This is my third issue with 1-800-Flowers.
LATE LATE LATE delivery, products that do not last.
Took me over an hour to speak with someone in regards and they offered a 50% refund on my $70 order. THANKS!
They did however offer me a $20.00 gift card for my next purchase, but after three issues I will take my business else where.

Ruined Mother’s Day

"I placed an order on 5/6/2021 for a flower arrangement for Mother’s Day (5/9). I chose flex delivery which meant it could be delivered 5/7, 5/8, or 5/9. Mother’s Day arrived and I saw no change in order status. I reached out to 1800 Flowers that afternoon to express my concern. I was assured that my delivery would be delivered by 8pm. I continued to wait until 7:45pm. Still no delivery. I contacted 1800 Flowers again to get an update on my order. I was told it would be delivered for the second time, so I asked the representative to tell me the location of my delivery because it was 15 minutes until 8. The representative replied that she was sorry for the inconvenience and offered me $20 off my next order.

The fact that I ordered 3 days ahead and the flowers could’ve been delivered either of the 3 days, left no excuse to why my flowers were not delivered. I waited all day till night for my mother’s flowers and was told each time they would be delivered. Not only did 1800 flowers fail to provide me with the service I paid for, they left me no time to seek another option to get my mom flowers. THIS COMPANY RUINED THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY FOR MOTHERS AND OFFERED ME $20. The audacity. I will never use this company again.

HORRIBLE SERVICE

"Sent flowers once to a good friend, and the flowers were basically dead, sent flowers to my son's mom, and the flowers never showed up, my son sent flowers to his mom and they never showed up.

It's one excuse after another excuse after another. Whoever is the CEO needs to go back down to the ground floor and redo their customer support. Even when you are in queue online they dont' respond back, there is no ping to let you know when they message you.


This is horrible!

Waste of over 500 dollars!

1-800-Flowers is really a politician.

"Lots of promises but no delivery on them. They delivered 1/2 of my order then the other 1/2 showed up 3 days after Mothers Day. If you want the same treatment you get from your elected officials give them your money. But don't b!#ch about your money disappearing along with the promise. You've been warned."

Poor Customer Service

"This has to be the worst company I ever dealt with. I don’t think I have ever had a good experience with them but 3rd time and I’m done. I ordered flowers for Mother’s Day and paid more to have them delivered on Saturday or Sunday because I couldn’t be there to get some on my own. They reported them delivered on Saturday but it was delivered to a different apartment. I was told they could give me “tomorrow delivery” which would Monday. I told them I wanted Sunday as I paid for it to be delivered then. I was told they were too busy to deliver it. Then after arguing with them they said they couldn’t deliver until Tuesday and could only give me part of my money back.I asked for a manager or someone to talk to and no option was ever given. I told them I had the tomorrow delivery statement as proof (because it’s in a text from them). They never tried to help just kept wanting me to move the delivery. I requested my money back and will never use again. “Too busy” is a sorry excuse! Just say I’m not an important customer. "

Better than worthless, but barely.

"Last V-day and this Mother’s Day, flowers were not delivered by the day before the holiday. For both orders, the website indicated that the delivery would be on the day before the occasion. Not reliable. Will never use this service again. This company deserves to go out of business tomorrow.
