"I did my contact lens exam with 1800 contacts. It said I completed the exam but I got an email from a rep named Joshua who said (after I already expressly acknowledged to him that my prescription from my prior contacts exam had gotten way worse and even provided him my current glasses prescription to compare) that it was SO odd how my vision fluctuated, implied I was squinting for the exam to impress my eye doctor, and that I needed to retake the exam. Fine. I retook it. Got no response from Joshua or anyone for the matter. I emailed Joshua and got no response. Whatever, I gave them leeway. Hey, maybe my scenario is SO foreign to them that they need 48 hours to examine my results instead of the "guaranteed" 24. Emailed Joshua again after 2 days--still no response. Called customer service the next morning (3rd day) just to be told that there's a note in my file that says the exam couldn't be completed. Like BRO, Joshua, JUST TELL ME your company couldn't pull through so I can make plans to get my contacts prescription and lenses elsewhere. Why would you ghost a paying customer after having received 2 emails inquiring about your overdue guarantee?? What a waste of time. And now I will not be able to see clearly for my law school graduation. Even a blanket statement of rejection would've sufficed. Instead, I was left waiting with 0 response that **** didn't work out, which was concluded internally 3 days ago, unbeknownst to me. Thanks, 1800contacts, and thank you in particular, Joshua. Irresponsibility at its finest. "
"I have ordered twice from 1800 contacts and paid the extra cost for 2 day shipping. Both times they took longer than a week to arrive. I will not be ordering from them again. If you do decide to order from them, do not get the expidited shipping as you will waste your money on that. "
"I have ordered thru 1800 contacts for several years and have had good experience in the past. Last year it was average, this year it was one of my WORST experience!
The order was not processed on time, then they shipped to the wrong address, I had to call several times, send emails, they kept claiming that it was shipped to the right address, but UPS showed something different and we never received the lenses. Finally today one of the agent owned up and said it was never shipped to the right address so he put in a new order. Being that these are custom lenses, I have to wait for 4-6 weeks AGAIN!!!!
Terrible customer service and I am really disappointed.

"We have ordered contacts from 1800contacts for many years. The customer service has always been great and reliable. They still continue to surprise me. There was an issue with my prescription which was not their fault at all. The doctor's office sent the wrong one. However they expedited the shipping. The address was an old one when I received the confirmation (we have changed addresses several times over the last few years). I called them, not to complain but to just have it corrected, they fixed it and upgraded shipping once again. My daughter will receive her contacts next day because of minor mistakes. However, this is not out of the ordinary. They are always customer service oriented. The prices are always a little less than the doctor's office and they will ship directly to my daughter who is in college. I would definitely recommend them to anyone."
"I wear acuvue moist and I ran out three days before my vacation so I called 1800 contacts and the guy on the phone was extremely nice and helpful!!! I texted a picture of my Rx and my order was shipped the next day!! Great customer service , got my contacts so quick!"
"My 9 year old son was prescribed extended wear contacts, meaning he wears them daily and switches to a new pair every 30 days. Almost immediately he tore a lens. I contacted the company and they replaced the lens no problem. I need to state that my child is legally blind and his lenses are special order due to his unusual prescription. WELL, today when I told my son that he needed to switch to new lenses he told me that he had torn ALL of his lenses. These are so expensive I was... discouraged and mentally trying to determine how I was going to pay for his new lenses (side note, due to his many vision needs including Nystagmus and Photophobia, his corrected vision improves with contact lenses which is why it is important that he wears those rather than his glasses.) I contacted 1800contacts through their chat function and within 3 minutes they had ordered a replacement for ALL of his lenses, completely free of charge. I am overwhelmed with thankfulness for this policy. I don't know how they can stay in business with this replacement policy but for today I will be thankful!"
"They keep accepting an order and three days later call that the prescription had expired at the time I am down to the last set of contacts. My recommendation was that they give e heads-up before that happens so I act on this earlier. The rep on the phone said that they would if they had a copy of my prescription. I know they did because I emailed it. Needless to say, these people have no clue what they are doing! I will look for an alternative supplier."
"This is my first time ever buying from 1800 Contacts. It's been over a year since I've been to the eye doctor (which is over an hour away) so I wasn't sure how this would go. First I picked my brand of contacts that I use, then put my prescription number in for each eye, then it asks for a signed prescription from my doctor, which I didn't have (starting to panic) but no problem they contacted my eye doctor and got a signed prescription (thank God).. We shared this info via text messaging between 2am-3am about getting a signed prescription..I placed my order 4/8/18 and my contacts arrived via UPS today before noon 4/10/18.. Very securely packaged and a FREE contact lens container too.. After I placed my order and payed, I then decided to read all the reviews (which was scary) there are so many negative reviews one in particular that stood out to me *If there is any positive reviews left it is left by a robot or an employee* So I'm not a robot/employee I'm a Appalachian Mountain woman from Eastern Kentucky and I had a wounderful/great first time experience with 1800Contacts.. I highly recommend buying your contacts here.. I am 100% Satisfied with my first time experience with this company.. My contacts was Acuvue Vita a 6 pack box which was incredibly cheaper than what I'd been paying at Vision Works.. I saved time/money and most importantly I can See again.."
"Hiiii :-) I’m a happy customer with 1800 contacts. I also just got the Acuvue Vitas and I’m really happy. They’re even more comfortable than the biweekly ones. I can’t even feel them! Which is kinda cool considering how the previous monthlies were and the biweekly ones I’ve tried. The reason I think is simple because they have a thinner edge and that’s the best plus better technology :-). So 1800 contacts has been super fast and great customer service."
" I cancelled the last order made on 03/02/2018. I do not think that I should need to go on-line to shop a price to find out how much more 1-800- contacts are. If the price had not gone up so much, I would have never even looked on-line, I would have just ordered!!! I think companies should be able to charge a FAIR price and I do not mind paying a little more for convenience, but when the price is more that twice as much and 50% more than the last order, I feel betrayed as a customer!"
