"This company made good with me on a purchase that had miscommunication. They stepped up and resolved all issues and I would buy from a stand up company like this again"
"They pulled a total bait and switch on me. I purchased a humidor for my boyfriend that he wanted and it was a really good price. Should have trusted my gut feeling. They immediately emailed me to tell me that one wasn't in stock but to pick one of their other extremely overpriced humidors. Such a joke. Then the had a 150 dollar "hold" pending on my credit card for over a month. Unethical, rude customer service the WORST. "
"Instead of telling what happened to me, just do one thing to get a good feel of this company. Look at the reviews of all the different humidors on their website. If you scroll thru them all, you will be hard pressed to find a less than 4 star review. I posted a 2 star review on the Madison and it was never posted. Just look at the reviews on Amazon and you will see at least some negatives. There is no way this company is showing any bad reviews, period!"
"be careful buying and expecting what is called a satisfaction guarantee. when first setting up the humidor purchased, within a short time frame, there was signs of mold along the woodwork. contacted the retailer, sent pictures, phone tag and was told it was known as "plume". after checking what plume would be in the cigar/humidor forums, everyone but this retailer calls it MOLD!. I also pointed out the door would not seal on the unit, could easily slide 2 one dollar bills between the door and frame, was told that was normal.
they repeated again and again that they did not ship the unit with "plume". and they most likely didn't, knowingly. but either way, 'Satisfaction Guaranteed" wasn't promised with a small print clause of "except for these reasons". "
"Purchased a humidor for my husband and immediately upon trying to get it up and running it started forming something that looks like mold. He contacted the company several times and finally they told him that the build up is Plume. Plume is another word for mold but they won't admit to that. I can send the humidor back and pay for the shipping and they won't guarantee that I'll get a full refund since It's used now. There is also a gap in the door and the company says that it comes like that and it won't lose any humidity but if you see the gap there is no way that it won't lose humidity. "
