"They are scammers, do not listen any word that they say. Even if it may seem real it is a total scam."
"I just called because when Microsoft made changes to my computer, many functions were not the same. I called tech support and was told I COULD NOT GET HELP UNLESS I PAID $199! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!! FRANKLY, IT'S A SCAM! I CANNOT BELIEVE 2 DIFFERENT TECH SUPPORT PEOPLE JUST HUNG UP ON ME! AWFUL SERVICE!"
"They deceive you into thinking that they're trustworthy company when they're not."
"After reading and fully understanding the parameters of their service I agreed to what was to expect. There was nothing hidden or outlandish. I paid $187 (whatever) for the 6 month contract agreeing to the $140 something charge in six months. I had the Lenovo issue of the frozen keyboard that nobody seemed to have a fix for. Like anyone else I was frustrated and wanted the computer fixed yesterday. I have come to realize that computer technology is constantly upgrading and so are the issues and repair needs that never seem to stop. If they could fix my unit, it was a bargain from my perspective.
I was so frustrated one techie, very professionally without any rancor, said to me: “We are not going to solve the problem with arguing” and I realized he was quite right and settled into a several day marathon of finding the problem and repairing it.
I was speaking to techies in Sri Lanka so there was an issue with dialog but they were smarter than I since they spoke, at least, two languages and did their absolute best to act very professionally while dealing with many requests for them to repeat what they said. They made it easy to feel comfortable with my many requests for repeating what they said. Sometimes they used a different word to get the message across. This situation needs to be approached with understanding and a realization the computer is the problem so making an issue of the language thing, for me, seems undignified and immature particularly with their capabilities to fix a problem.
Over several days there were several interruptions, I was unable to speak with them due to a family situation. During that time they called me and left messages as they seemed to be champing at the bit to get the problem resolved. Sometimes we just can’t stay on a computer all day while they go through the search for a resolution. I was quite surprised at what looked like their eagerness to continue with their work. I’ve never experienced anything like it and viewed the effort in a most favorable way.
Finally they said the problem was in the system. I asked them to define “system” to which they replied “Windows.” Since other people with Lenovo computers had the same problem (with 2 models), I had purchased a new hp computer (no programs). They set the thing up and I had the same issue on the new computer. I uninstalled Office Pro, installed a new Office Pro + and it worked. It really was time for me to get a new desktop anyway so it was OK. The problem on the old computer was it was impossible to type anything because the program put a series of dashes into infinity when opened.
One downside was one of the techs had erroneously deleted all of my email files which are saved as part of my research. I was furious but remained calm. The upside was, the current tech, after a few hours, found and reloaded the deleted files. I was whole again.
Along the long and arduous process, these techies got the job done. I can’t say anything negative about them. Would a freelance, local tech done the same for $30? I don’t know and frankly don’t care. I accepted the terms, went through the process understanding it could take a while. There was absolutely no reason for me to call them scammers, which, by the way, does not enlighten anyone reading such a review. Name calling is as useless as arguing while trying to procure a successful outcome.
These techies worked a long time on my problem and remained focused and I appreciated their diligence. They were more than worth the initial cost and I believe I will continue to keep them on board for the next six months. The are professional, calm, conscientious and cerebral with their work. They are all business and, after all, that’s what is needed as we wait for a fix for our problem in this shaky tech world.

"completed tasks I was not sure of, greatly appreciated, I followed the techie and hopefully learned somethings."
"This company is a ripe off. Trouble with Microsoft 10 just unplug your computer to restart.
They will charge you for so called soft ware for 129.95. and then tell you to unplug your computer and they have fixed your problem. I have filed a claim with PayPal and no luck getting my money back. Not happy with Pay Pal right now either. Probably going to cancel my acct. with them too.
Do not use this company!!!!!!!"
"This company has no technical support team and once they have your money they ask to take over your computer and run CCleaner and Onyx both programs you can download yourself and run for free no need to pay 247Techie. They also run your Disk Utility and in my case did this for 2-3 days over and over again until I begged them to please get off my computer. My issue was resolved with a visit to the Apple Genius Bar where a real technical support opened my Activity Monitor to see where I had issues and removed the software causing the memory leak. There is no way a company suppling free software to check your computer should be collecting fees of several hundred dollars and through PayPal actually instigating a renewal every 6 months of the contract. Please be careful when buying support on line I learnt my lesson. I was refunded finally but again with a 30 day refund policy if not satisfied did I really have to ask for a PayPal investigation and did PayPal have to agree they delivered service so further encourage these type of operations to continue on the internet."
"Avoid 277 Techies. They were quick to diagnose the problem, sell me a subscription and promise a fix. After more than 1 month and nearly 15 lengthy support sessions with 6 different techs, it was clear that they had no idea how to fix the problem and were "experimenting" with possible solutions. Each tech tried the same thing and each call was essentially a "start over" In the end, they did absolutely nothing and yet refused to give me a full refund citing their policy of 30 days. I only wish i had given up on them earlier (within the 30 day window) but they kept promising me that they could solve my problem. It is clear that despite their claim to be Microsoft "experts" they have limited understanding of Outlook beyond what my local computer store does. AVOID THIS SERVICE. They are VERY GOOD at selling you a subscription but POOR at actually delivering the service they promise. Then, they can't even acknowledge their failure to provide any service and refund the subscription!!!"
"
MY GOODNESS!!! I lodged a serious complaint against 24/7 techies following prolonged struggles with various agents. Very frustrated, I wrote in strong anger. Great news - - 24/7 responded to my complaint by granting what I requested as a special situation.
My main issues were: all major details be given in verbal (on-the-phone) contracts, and long-term customers with honour and loyalty be trusted not to abuse the system. This one kind act by 24/7 returns me to high rating of its service, hoping the above points will be considered.
THANK YOU, 24/7 techies! "
"**Warning**
Do not use this company. They do not do what they say, for £69.95 they installed 2 free spyware programmes on my computer did not fix any of the problems I called them about and are avoiding both myself and paypal for me to obtain a refund. They are dishonest and are totally un-proffesional and I strongly advise you to avoid like the plague."
"I have had wonderful service, kind patient from Mahaz who was able to fixed my troublesome problems. I am not a computer nerd to say the least , so I found his help marvelous.
I really appreciate Techies although I have only had need to use it twice so far both times very satisfied with the young men that dealt with the problem.
I had short sealing with Hashir and shorter with David who were also most polite and helful Many thanks to Mahaz"
"I contacted this company about a SQL Server issue, which it says on their website they support. After about 8 hours over 3 days of them fumbling around and doing basically nothing but read instructions on their end while they sat idly connected to my computers I finally gave up and told them I wanted a refund. To begin with I though I was going to have problems getting the refund because when I requested a refund they just kept writing asking for another chance to fix my issue. Turns out they did refund me in full 4 days after the initial refund request, so I can't complain there... although I did complain to them very loudly, don't know if I would have got a refund so fast if I had not.
As far as the actual service they gave me I would say a middle schooler could do just as well, I honestly believe they knew less than me about SQL Server. They spent more time messing with firewall settings than anything else... even when the issue existed with the firewall OFF, so anybody with any computer knowledge at all could tell you its not a firewall issue if it still does not work when the firewall is off.
Maybe they would be better at fixing common computer issues... I don't know, but I know I would never try them again.
What would have cost me almost $300 with them(cause they were working on 2 computers trying to get SQL Server to communicate), I had fixed by somebody on freelancer.com in about 30 minutes for $30.00. Turns out it was a very simple thing... when connecting to the Express version of SQL Server you have to use "ServerName\SQLexpress" as the server name.... ANY SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL WHO DEALS WITH SQL SERVER SHOULD KNOW THIS. Freelancer.com isn't setup specifically for tech support help but the people on their will help with just about any kind of computer project you could have, and you only pay them AFTER the job is completed."
