"I ordered an 9x12 area rug and when they delivered it, it was folded in half and then several more times. I doubt I'll ever get the wrinkles out of it. The mat I purchased for under the rug was NOT worth the money, it was flimsy and ridiculous. I'll Never order from this company again!"
"I purchased an Asus Notebook Laptop for my disabled son in July using funds from an Agency for the disabled. I intended to give this computer to my son for his birthday in September. I did not open the box until a week before his birthday. The computer was malfunctioning. I called NewEgg and they contacted
eSales. Their pat answer was that the computer was bought in July and no longer under warranty. Contact the manufacturer. No compassion what so ever.
Thankfully Asus is a terrific company and helped me reset the computer and it now working. I was able to fix it one day before my son's birthday.
eSales's only response was that the 30 day return period has passed. Too bad for them. I purchase a LOT of electronics on-line (from NewEgg). Just bought my daughter a $2,000 gaming computer. Would NEVER buy it from e-Sales. Word of warning. Buy directly from NewEgg and not one of the sellers they partner with."
"360 PROS my *#$ Clueless thats all I can really say. Yea they got me a ups label to ship my consol to them, looking really good. Once they recieved my consol they sent me an email saying they recieved my consol and were testing it for problems awsome. I get another email telling me that they found the problem the board needed my board to be overflowed cool. i recieved another email that the tech finished the repair and was testing it great. I received another email the tech was finished with the testing and they were sending it to have the flux cleaned off the board and it would be heading to shipping. I donot hear from them for 3-4 days nothing I called them spoke to sandy, she says they were waiting for a call from me they did not know what kind of problem I was having. Huh, so sandy talks to a tech he says that they did not find anything wrong and was going give me a total refund and that the problem with my consul must be a bad disk. excuse me but don't you think I tried other disk before calling them. I get my consol back guess what it did not work. I waited for a few days checking my bank account to see if they gave me my refund nothing. I called sandy she say I have to wait 7-10 days to recieve my refund of $79 but wait they charged $102 for the work plus shipping sandy say oh you will only recieve the $79 because they shipped my consol back. Huh I thought she said a total refund. Why do i have to wait 7-10 days they were able to take my money moments after I oked for them to do the work. I don't know but I got a feeling they really have not got a clue. I would stay away from these guys."
"Stay away.
My Xbox drive is broken so I sent it to Xbox-360 Pros. They quickly responded with an email acknowledging receipt of my Xbox and asking for payment. I quickly made payment. So far so good.
However, after 3 days of waiting without any news, I sent them an email asking for the status of my order. No answer. So I called them this morning. After being on hold for a long time, I was told by the phone attendant that they are backed up because of SuperStorm Sandy. And it would take 4-5 weeks. Ridiculous!
Their mobile website clearly states "turnaround time is typically just 1-2 business days". http://www.360-pros.com/mobile/Default.aspx. Their desktop website has a notice that it will take longer due to Sandy. But why isn't their mobile site consistent with the desktop site?
They said they could refund my money and send my Xbox back to me next. But I would have to pay the $22.99 in return shipping! Who knows if they will actually return my Xbox and my money or when that will occur. In the meantime, my little kids keep asking me when their Xbox will come back. I have been telling them it should be any day. Now I'll have to tell them it will be weeks again before it is repaired.
What a disappointment. "
"Repair was successful. It did take much longer than the stated 1-2 day turn around. There was an understandable delay due to Hurricane Sandy, but no initiative to inform customers of the delay. I found out by searching the wesite and found it "hidden" in a Customer Service comment, as I had become concerned that the service might be a sham. But the repair was done correctly and when finally fixed, shipping was done well. Overall satisfied."
"They charged me more than they said it would cost. It also took me a month to get my x box back after the website said around 6 business days or so."
"The shipping and payment went smoothly enough, waiting for repairs to be completed to see how that goes. "
"great service,easy and good responce."
"I waited 11 days after payment without hearing about my unit. I had to call to find out. The person on the telephone was rude and didn't care at all."
"shipping fees are outrageous, and the turn around time is weeks longer than advertised, after getting your money, you must keep in contact with them; what was supposed to be 2 days is now 2 weeks and my xbox is still waiting for a tech to actually work on it. I will never use this company again.EVER"
"Quick diagnosis of prob. Nice customer reps. Just a long wait for return of console due to superstorm Sandy"
"My experience with the 360 Pros was overall a bad one, but at least it came with an acceptable ending.
First of all, I was excited to see that they are priced competitively with Microsoft's own repair service, offering a nice little discount as well as covering the shipping costs. What they do not mention is that you will still be required to pay the shipping costs to send it back to you, and this will likely run somewhere around twenty dollars. I was disappointed by this, and a bit angered by the fact that this was not made known to me until the system was in their possession, requiring me to pay the price regardless of whether or not I decide to get the console serviced there.
The next issue, and by far the largest one, was that the problem was never actually resolved. They never actually repaired the console! I called their hotline, and their inept-sounding representative informed me that I had asked them to send it back to me without repair. This, of course, was absurd as I had not even contacted them at all after approving the repairs and paying the full cost. One would think that, had I declined repairs (which I didn't), I should have at least gotten the repair costs refunded, but this apparently never occured to anyone.
I requested some kind of solution and, after a brief hold, was given the option to send it back in for repair, all costs covered. Seeing as how I was not impressed with their repair work so far, I responded by saying I'd prefer a full refund, and I was asked if a callback was acceptable. I had to leave for work soon, so this didn't really bother me. I scheduled one for the next day, and they did call me, though just a tiny bit late. Much to my surprise, they had agreed to a refund, though I had to push to get the shipping cost (the one that was sprung on me) refunded as well.
Things looked like they would finally be set right, but, as time went on, I couldn't help but notice that the refund didn't seem to be arriving any time soon. It wasn't until about two weeks and a half later that I called them about this oddity. I was told that, for some reason, my refund had not yet been processed. I don't know why this additional issue had occured, but, thankfully, the person I spoke with this time (much more competant sounding) was able to get it taken care of. The refund appeared in my account a mere two minutes later. If only that had happened the first time!
I still can't shake the feeling that much of this may have been a scam, that they may have been hoping I'd just wimp out and let the matter drop. I'm glad I pursued it until I got a resolution. I can't say I'll be going back to these people again in the future, but I'm at least glad I only lost time and patience. "
"The process was amazingly quick and easy just print out the UPS shipping slip take it to the post office, wrap it up and they ship it out for you. the 360 pros diagnosed and fixed my xbox360 in no time and promptly shipped it back the console works like its brand new again thank you sooo much!!"
"sending my xbox to xboxpros saved me a lot of money!"
"look for service somewhere else!!! website claimed 2-3 days turnaround on repairs, but they fail to mention that you will wait in line for weeks for service. they also claim free shipping and give you a pre-paid ups label for shipping your unit to them. what they don't tell you is that once they have your unit, they will hold it ransom at exorbitantly high return shipping rates. also, read the warranty carefully: they claim in big letters that they extend the warranty to one year, but the small print reveals that they only cover labor charges for 90 days, after that you will pay for labor and shipping which is 90% of the cost anyway, so basically it is an empty claim. unless you live nowhere close to any type of independent repair centers, i would go somewhere else. i dont like being mislead, and i will not do business with 360 pros again."
