I like their flex frames lately, but I've also purchased a bunch of wired glasses. Great prices and premium lenses with full service options for progressive, transition, blue light filter, super light weight, scratch resistance, glare resistances -- all the perks at much less price. You can find a $15 off coupon if you search online. I do not understand the bad ratings in any way. People just like to complain."
"This was my first time ever using 39$ Glasses. I ordered a pair of Morimoto 23 bifocal glasses and opted for the crizal lenses, which cost more than the $39 basics. All the coatings. I received the glasses and they, at first glance, looked great. I put them on and something was off. It was if I was looking through a smudged lens. I take them off and they are clean but what was apparent was the coatings were applied unevenly across both lenses, the left worse the the right. I took pictures and submitted them for an refund. Care said they couldn't see it in the pics but they'd look at them when returned. Customer care issued the rma and I sent them back the next day after receiving them. I was just informed, via email, that they couldn't see any defect in the coating and as such, they will refund less a 30% "restocking" fee. Unbelievable. It was plain as day if you held the glasses up to a white background...such as a computer screen, you'd see the unevenness of the coating. It was causing optical issues. But whatever. No fighting back today with companies. Go to Zenni Optical, I've ordered 12 pairs over the last 10 years and they NEVER have let me down."

"There is a miscommunication among staffs to assist customers. I asked how to cancel my order for sea view frame and one of the staff went ahead and canceled my order. After I said I did not officially request to cancel, she/he placed the new order with different order number (which is called remake). However, the order she canceled by mistake became back to be in progress. So in the end, I have received 2 same pairs of glasses that I don't want. They are heavy, slide down to my face and out of focus vision. I have returned one and asked to return the second pair for refund. They said there is no refund at this time but option to remake at 50% fee. I do not want any more glasses from this company but just want to return their products and get my money back. The miscommunication and remake order are not my fault and that, I should receive my refund as their return policy is applied. The company lies when they stated "100% no worry guarantee." It is a joke! Do not buy."
"I ordered glasses and spoke with Evon at 39dollarglasses.com, and it was the worst experience, I did Not order online, I called and spoke with Evon, I think she said that she was the owner, for I told Evon that my order has to be 30% Light Gray Tint, and she said it will, and I also sent Evon an email along with my prescription stating that it has to be 30% Tint, and today I received the glasses and they were 90% Tint. So whatever you do, do Not buy glasses from this place, for they will never give you the glasses you want, and they are rude over the phone when there is a problem, and when I went to the post office I waited in a very long line to send these damn glasses back! I paid by credit card and I put in a claim, so I am letting Visa take over for now, but you should NEVER pay them by debit card, money order, or check because they will fight to not give your money back when they rip you off."

They sent darkest tint,I contacted them and they said return them. I returned them and they then told me they could not do light tint for the glasses I ordered,but for 10.00 more they could do them in a different lens. I said I'm not paying more and they shouldn't have sent them when they were not as I ordered. I requested a full refund,they agreed.I received a partial refund. I am filing a complaint with the BBB. "Ordered Tulsa frames with bifocal lenses - very stylish with great color combination. Unfortunately the frames do not hold up. The 1'st pair broke after less than a month and now the 2'nd pair has met the same fate. These were occassional wear sun glasses principally used while driving and always kept in a case when not wearing them. The important point I want to make for those reading this is that I didn't cause the frames to break - the arms seem to be too firmly attached and I suspect that when opening the arms to put the glasses on it creates to much stress on the relatively thin frames thus causing them to crack and eventually fail.
It seems too coincidental that two pairs would break from my limited wear yet when I mentioned as much to the 39 Dollar Glasses rep. she said there have been no problems that she was aware of - I find this hard to believe. Unfortunately my 90 day warranty is up and I am out $262.90!"

"I received my glasses from 39dollarglasses.com in June. They felt a little weird, but I figured they would take some time to get used to because they were new. Since we were moving, all my paperwork got lost in a briefcase. Meanwhile, I found it increasingly difficult to read. I'm an English teacher. This past week, I found the paperwork and called 39dollar glasses.com. The representative I spoke to discussed my glasses with me. From what she told me, I could tell that she knew the company had gotten the prescription wrong; however, since the ninety-warrantee had expired, there was nothing they would do about it.
As of this writing, I have returned to an older pair of glasses, barely adequate, but, at least, I can read with less trouble. I will soon make an appointment with my eye doctor and pay full price for a new pair of glasses, the money I gave to 39dollarglasses.com, totally wasted.
