"Dear Sirs,
Yesterday, I bought the following electronic equipment from your 47th Street Store that I wish to return immediately.
Cannon T3 camera kit for $800
Digital Advanced Technologies - Wide angle HD Titanium lens $899
HD lens filter protector uv cap - $189
Accessories included - caring bag, 16 gig memory
Total. Credit Card $1,699.99 plus tax $150.87
Total. Cash. $189.00. Tax incuded
I am very upset that the salesman KH blatantly lied and misrepresented the truth while offering me the Wide Angle HD lens. This particular lens retails for $100 +/- dollars in many places. He showed me made up evidence, in a printed catalog from the OEM manufacturer that the new technology titanium, 15 year warranty lens retails for $1,475.00. He then misrepresented factual information to purposely coerce the sale.
I will be returning all equipment in the original package today, March 20th, 2011- in less than 24 hours from the actual sale and physical delivery of the product @ 1552 Broadway, NYC
I am very upset with the deception technics utilized by your sales people. I need immediate response and attention to this email. I am prepared to contact/write to the BBB - better business burrow and to the District Attorney of NYC accusing your company of deceptive trade practices, misrepresentation and consumer fraud. I have also research the Web and found many similar consumer testimonials/cases of deception and fraud perpetrated by your company to other consumers. "
