"Pass on their "free" card gimick ... unless you want headaches and frustration ... and your "cards" 3-4 weeks after you order.
The experience started well. The design process was easy and I felt I got a good design. My checkout was good and it really was free.
I got subsequent progress emails ... until ... it came down to actually sending the cards. I got an email 9/17 saying my order was done, shipping out and I would receive them 9/20. Awesome, right? Well, that was the last contact. No cards arrived. No answer to emails. No answer to messages. No one answered the phone 9/21. 9/22 I discovered they close on weekends.
I began calling 9/24 and received a weak response of oh, they will ship today, we're a little behind. A week later! He also said they would arrive in 7-10 days! Well longer than the original 4 day promise. I asked for them to be shipped priority mail since they dropped the ball, but all I got was transferred from one person to the next. Finally a rather timid and tepid man told me he would have to check on my request. I rec'd an email moments later they would ship 2 day for $30, please advise. Haahahahahahahaha
They also said postal service shipping - but the email I got says UPS. Details, people, details are muy importante in the printing business.
I get these are free ... and you always get what you pay for ... but why bother doing this as an introduction to your business if you're just going to execute it poorly? Any good will toward them has been erased. There are many, many, many online printers I can use. It's too bad 4over4.com doesn't get customer service is a large part of any business."
