"Looking online to purchase a digital camera I found this company to be the least expensive of all, however once I ordered, the salepersons attempted to talk me into buying very expensive acessories to go with the camera. When I refused, I received an email indicating my camera was backordered and it would be 4-6 weeks if at all that it would be available. When I called to double-check, the man was very rude, so I cancelled my order. I will never call this company again for anything!"
"Ordered the item online. Got a call back to confirm shipping and billing address. Wanted me to buy more accessories for in stock camera. I explained this was a replacement camera and I already had all the accessories. Got an email 10 minutes later saying it was back ordered. Called in today 4-22 asked about the same item. Was it in stock "Yes we have that in stock", ok my order number is XXXXXX oh you have an order number just a minute. Hold for another 6 minutes. Yeah that item is on backorder. At this point I've read enough on the internet I don't argue that apparently they must have had a rush in the past six minutes because it was in stock a second ago. Please cancel my order, "Got it, your order is cancelled". I get the cancellation email two minutes later. Run don't walk away from this vendor."
"Bottom line guys, This company lures you in with a cheap price at first but if you don't buy overpriced accessories you will never get the product you wanted originally. So basically nothing is ever a bargain price! They will never send it if you don't overpay for something else, making the price the same as any other store. "
"After placing the order I was instructed by email to call Steve to confirm my order. I left him a message at 7 am California time which he never returned. I called again and got him. He had me on hold for 10 minutes. I called again and got sales. He quickly confirmed my order. After two weeks and no delivery I called and was told it was back ordered and would be three weeks. After three weeks went by it went up again to three weeks. I just called CAnon USA and was told that this dealer is not an authorized Canon dealer. It is now April 21."

My wife placed the order for a sony handycam dcrdvd 308... the day after thanksgiving for a Christmas gift for me. She got an email a few days later to say that the order was on back order for four to six weeks ... at Christmas she gave me some of the mini discs that the camera uses but was saddened to tell me it was on back order. So I call 'em and they say two more weeks, two weeks later it was four to six weeks again ... i wasn't in a hurry, but a little discouraged, so i waited patiently ... finally at the beginning of march, that's right, almost three and a half months later, they finally call my wife and say the camera is available but give her the standard upsell, she says she will ask me so i call and they add on some extras ... i'm typically not naive, but was tired of waiting so long, it was originally like $250 and i paid $450 for the extras they added because i'm an idiot ... don't use this company, don't use bestpricecameras.com, don't use fotoconnection, check this site before you make any online purchases for digital cameras or similar items ... "

Ordered the Garmin 660, like many others had, and experienced the same run around... call after call wanting me to buy something extra, warranty and the like, all overpriced. Never charged my card and in my mind never intended to ship my item. Curious to know how many people get burned by outfits like this? They must be staying in business somehow. "Same old story. Ordered an HD camcorder because of price. The day after I ordered, I got worried because I had not seen it show up on my card or had not recieved an email confirmation. So that is when I saw this site. I was floored. I got the email telling me to call "Steve", probably not even his real name, so I did. I told him as soon as he picked up the phone that I knew what this was about and to save us both a headache and just can his pitch and cancel the order. He said he was not calling to upsell, but to tell me the camera is not available despite thier website saying it was in stock and ships in 1-2 business days. He cancelled the order without a fight.
I am shocked that this type of scam can exist on the internet in this day and age. You would think sites like Google and PriceGrabber, etc, would catch wind of this type of scam and not advertise for them. But in America, nothing speaks louder then the dollar and even a reputable company like Google will never turn down the chance to make one. Avoid this site and all others that are attempeting the same scam. There are plenty of them. If the price is over 200 below retail, you can assume it is either a scam like this, or a gray market product that probably has Japanese menus, etc. I learned alot shopping for this camera, please don't allow yourself to be victimized by "businesses" that have no ethics. They will pay in the end. "

"Same scam as reported by others. Ordered camera at advertised excellent price, received call allegedly to "validate" the order. Virtually insisted that I also purchase several overpriced accessories which I refused. Was never told there would be any particular delay in shipping. When not received after 2 weeks, I called to inquire re status of order. Was told camera was on back order.
Obviously company advertises cameras at prices "too good to be true". Predicates profit on customer being convinced to buy overpriced accessories. If customer refuses to do so, company temporizes till customer loses patience and cancels order. "
"I placed an order for a Panasonic lumix DMC-FZ50K digital camera for a super price of $319.00. Two hours later I received a call from Robert stating I didn't order a battery charger costing $179.00. By the end of the conversation the price was up to $800. I told him to send only what I'd ordered. After listening to his verbal abuse regarding my stupidity, he hung up. Next came the email stating the camera was out of stock and not be available for 3 to 4 weeks. I tried to cancel the order but it wasn't listed. I called back and they said the reason was because it was back ordered. I will call again tomorrow to cancel the order and inform my credit card company to stop any payment. This company is a scam!"
