"We continually go back to 9 to 5 Computer for our peripherals they ship fast and prices are reasonable. "
"We bought several hard drive duplicators from 9 to 5 Computer and we had issues with one and Chris at 9 to 5 sent us another one right away. We have bought several items from them over the years and we have never had an issue with them. "
"I order two hard drives they were shipped quickly. Products were packed well and I have not had any problems."
"I bought two L10132 drives in L10130 enclosures from 9 to 5 Computer. The drives arrived but did not work. I suggested I take the internal drives out of their enclosures and test if the internal drives are working, but 9 to 5 Computer declined (the enclosures were sealed for warranty purposes) and insisted I return the drives to them for warranty repair, at my own expense. This was agreed, on condition that they shipped the repaired drives back to me at their expense. They returned the internal drives only, without the enclosures. I have been trying for months to get my enclosures (which I have paid for and which are my property) back, but the company are ignoring my e-mails and when I call, they are rude and merely say "we won't be able to help you with that". They have - literally - simply confiscated my property, are not denying it, and are brazen enough to tell me to my face that's what they are doing and what am I going to do about it. To put it politely, this outfit appears to be neither professional nor reputable."
" I had concerns after reading comments on here. But it was not because of a few unhappy customer on here(it always happen)but it was due to how they handled it.(Used hardrive comment)
I wanted to give them a chance because they had a second best price on item I purchased. I made payment via Paypal to be safe.
My order was shipped same day. I was expecting 3 days at least because all companies buy this server part from the manufacturer and resell it.
My order was well packed.

"After returning the wrong parts to 9 to 5, they have consistently refused to refund what they were paid for this merchandise. STAY AWAY FROM 9 TO 5 COMPUTER JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA!!!"
"We ordered 6 ST3146356SS SEAGATE 146GB 15K drives on their website. We received the drives and found they all had been previously used. An existing RAID-5 setup INCLUDING data, presumably from the prior owners, was in place. There were also labels made from a self-labeling machine on each drive.
We tried to return the drives but the onerous RMA policy prevented us from doing so. We even got an attitude from the owner implying that we were lying about the drives being in the state that they were.
I should have known better to order from 9to5computer.com.
In retrospect it was obvious these were grey market or used drives as none of our US distributors carried them yet and the price was "too good to be true""
"I ordered 10 SCSI HDD 2.1G on Feb the 3rd, for an obsolete piece of equipment that doesn't allow anything else but these specific drives (ST21S011 (Quantum Fireball ST, 2.1GB SCSI HDD) - they were listed as being in stock; I called 9 to 5 Comp. and they confirmed it. They also confirmed I can use a third party purchasing company, so the whole transaction went through this company (this is the way TI works, nothing I can do about). However, the order was placed in the first week of Feb. and after 3 weeks no answer; called the purchasing company who called 9 to 5 which said I'll receive my drives shortly... 1 month later still nothing; called several times, they didn't have the drives in stock. Repet, I was looking for this specific model: ST21S011... The payment (including shipping for all 10 drives) was, of course, sent at the time the order was placed. On April the 27th they are requesting $15 more... I don't know what for but we pay hoping that we'll receive the drives but....... we need to pay $16 more for shipping!!! agreed, paid, and finally we got the pack on May the 3rd! which is ONLY 3 MONTHS FROM THE MOMENT THE ORDER WAS PLACED AND PAID. Another surprise when we opened the package: ONLY 4 DRIVES OUT OF TEN and ONLY ONE DRIVE OF THE SPECIFIED MODEL, THE REST BEING 2.1G SCSI BUT DIFFERENT MODELS.
This is my experience with this commpany and I don't understand how they are still in business..."
