"First of all, I have just experienced really great customer service. Kenny, the one who got my call quickly took care of the item that I was requesting an invoice on. Not only he was very helpful but the manner that was done was really calm and reassuring.
I know that great customer service is expected but Kenny and AC Gears really went above and beyond! Thank you and I have been their customer since 2010.

"I've been a local around the St. Marks area so I usually pass by the store whenever I get the chance. My first impression of the store stunned me a bit in regards as to what they had carried. What caught my attention was the wall of headphones which you could have tested and after being approach by a sales rep whom was very polite in explaining as to why exactly they had so many headphones.
Usually when I think of representatives, I find them to be very fake as in putting a facade to sell you something, but this was actually the opposite. The rep was very casual and informative as opposed to your average Big Box retailers.
I've been coming back and forth ever since if I ever needed a gift or had issues with a pair I've purchased and if I ran into any other problem, they'd be more than willing to help come up with a solution.
Overall, there's a myriad of things to see that you don't catch anywhere else and the customer service and support is great. Pretty cool place to get a firsthand view of things."
"I had originally heard of this store from a friend and was dying to have a pair of the ear buds she'd gotten. Ordered a pair of Urbanears Medis ear buds of a discontinued color. At first, I was disappointed to receive a phone call from AC Gears letting me know that color I had ordered was out for the season. I had expected a complicated process with my order but instead, they were nice enough to check their ENTIRE stock for similar colors & earphones of the same price.
They had taken their time and seemed really patient especially since I know I'm rather indecisive (I had them describe just about every ear bud they had in my price range). They had even offered to special order a similar color to take care of my order but instead, I decided to just go with a color they had in stock.
I really appreciated the time they took to get in touch with me about my order. Most places I shop with online just send out automated e-mails & aren't as personable or helpful as the rep I spoke with that day.
After that, I had even received my order within the same week of their call-- of course, that could be because I'm in NY and their store location is in NY as well.
Overall, my online order experience was pleasant despite the small issue (I guess I was bummed they weren't in stock of the color I wanted but realized it wasn't their fault the company discontinued the color so quickly) and I might even make some time to visit the actual location to see it for myself.
Definitely would recommend this place to a friend since their reps were extremely helpful & patient with me. "
