"I ordered a bracelet 3 weeks before my girlfriends birthday. I didn't receive anything and about 2 weeks into the order I asked the company about the order... and go no response... So then I e-mailed all four of their help lines and got a response about 3 days later saying that my item had been backordered. So I waited... My girlfriends birthday came and went... Valentines came and went... I e-mailed them about 3 other times, and got no response... So now I am frustrated and cancelling my order... we'll see how long it takes to get that..."
"On 07/13/07, I ordered 2 rings with engraving in the
total amount of $ 234.85. They immediately charged through my credit card and posted on 07/15/07.
Yesterday morning, I send them a e-mail to track down my order, manager(Cathy) responded immediately and told me, the order will be shipped out today, I shall be receiving shortly.
By the end of day, I received another e-mail from another manager (Barb)telling me the rings I ordered are no longer in stock and suggested me to order another ring with better width.
I immediately responded that if it's not the same ring,I insist a full refund. But so far, no one has contacted me regarding the refund.
Please help."
"I wanted to get a ring for my girlfriend with a particular Chinese phrase engraved upon it. AC Jewelry offers Chinese translations for engravings on their more expensive pieces, but I'm literate in Chinese, so I wanted to pick my own phrase.
After a week of e-mails to the company (they were very unresponsive), I finally received a price quote, and I submitted an order for the ring I wanted. Since the order did not contain the custom Chinese engraving, I gave specific instructions that the order was not to be charged to my credit card until the manager I had been in contact with (Anthony) added the engraving and related charges.
But they charged the order immediately for a PLAIN ring, even charging me sales tax, even though I live out of state.
I sent a few e-mails requesting that they fix the errors and add the agreed-upon engraving, but those e-mails went unanswered.
Finally, I e-mailed them asking them to cancel the order. They did not. So I e-mailed again a total of five times over the next three days demanding that they cancel the order and issue a refund-- I finally received my refund today, but no letter of explanation from AC Jewelry as to why their service was so terrible, nor any confirmation that they received any of the messages I sent after they mangled my order.
I got my money back in the end, but their level of service was terrible."
