Alternate is the worst PC part supplier I have ever ordered from.
I returned defective parts 3 weeks ago. They arrived there 3 weeks ago.
It's impossible to reach any telephone support line. They only answer sales lines, trying to sell more defective products they don't want to support.
When I called a week ago to see what's taking so long, I was told it would take 3 weeks. Now they're saying 4 weeks. They aren't even checking what is taking so long, this is how they do business.
So, if your time is worth nothing and you have no self respect, alternate.de is the shop for you. They will waste your time and treat you like sht."
"If you want to buy a product and like a company that doesn't care about the customer or provide assistance when there is a problem I recommend Alternate. After back and forth emails and it got to the part of their responsibility to provide me a solution they just stop replying. Very convenient!!!!"
"It's being an horrible experience. I bought a full PC gamer by parts, spent almost 1,5 thousand euros, and still don't have all my parts after 2 weeks.
Tried to cancel the order, was IMPOSSIBLE. They say that you can be supported in English, the costumer support HANG UP on me more than once, refusing to speak in English (even that they were understanding me perfectly). Lied to me many times that would send me an e-mail about my missing parts, never did, lied to me that I would get my parts in the other day, never received to this day! My wife that is German steps in to help, they keep saying to her that will arrive till Friday, till Wednesday, un till the end of the week, but it never NEVER gets delivered.

"Bought a graphics card from outlet. Alternate hasn't shipped in 3 days so I've contacted them. As an answer got something like "sorry it's out of stock". Even when they were still on the outlet side, just for 40euro more :D. Had to ask when will my money be returned and everything, cuz they're not willing to inform me. "Bought a hottub a year past in May, used it until September 2020 and put away for winter, brought back out in April 2021 and appeared to work fine until i emptied it in May to clean, to discover it deflated fully , discovered all the holes around the bottom are now letting in water.....not a puncture but a fault....emailed company and it has a 2 yr warranty, who say they cant replace it because of Brexit, but if i send it back at my cost they will refund, sent back and according to customs the company ignored the messages to ask if they will accept it....returned back to myself at a further charge from customs, now no further communication from the company despite my emails to them??"
"Utterly useless company which has ripped me off 377€. I ordered RAM for my computer, but then asked to return it without opening the package (which they confirmed was ok). Now, over 7 weeks after I returned the items they still haven't reimbursed the purchase. I've been in contact with them 5-6 times trying to understand what is going on. During the first emails they let me know that these things can take some time, but now they have stopped responding completely.
I do see that there are positive reviews out there, but in my case, their way of dealing with this has been horrible. Stay away from this company.

"The worst webshop I've ever met! I ordered 2 video cards from them, paid the price, and after several weeks my order was arbitrarily canceled! I didn't ask you to cancel my order, I would have waited !! They were referring to a false VAT regulation which turned out not to be true! Then this company claims the manufacturers do not produce the vidocard. They are lying!!!
I ordered from another country due to the cost of the transfer fee and the money exchange I suffered 40 euros due to the transfer back and forth !! The cost was not paid to me! I don't recommend them to anyone, junk company, you don't get the product !!!!!

I bought a Bosch KüchenM robot. MUM 4405 500W wh. He arrived at home in Italy and for a mistake I exercised the right of withdrawal.
Congratulations, I have been reimbursed for both the purchase cost and the transport costs incurred for the return of the item.
They are reliable, professional and fast.

"I had some issues with Alternate. My first order arrived incorrectly, I returned the item and it took me 2 weeks for the refund, as Alternate didnt book the return in for 2 weeks, thats not good enough. The second was an order worth € 1560 for 4 high-end components. They were all in stock on 3/12/20, but my order is now waiting for goods from the supplier and has been since the weekend. I sent 3 messages asking for an update only to get a "We're too busy, please don't email" response. When I had problems paying by card, they claimed I wouldn't use a German account when I actually am doing so. Lazy, useless service that doesn't even try to help. Terrible company, I won't be ordering here again.
Ich hatte einige Probleme mit Alternate. Meine erste Bestellung kam falsch an, ich gab den Artikel zurück und es dauerte 2 Wochen für die Rückerstattung, da Alternate die Rücksendung 2 Wochen lang nicht gebucht hatte, das ist nicht gut genug. Der zweite war ein Auftrag im Wert von 1560 € für 4 High-End-Komponenten. Sie waren alle am 12.03.20 auf Lager, aber meine Bestellung wartet jetzt auf Waren vom Lieferanten und ist seit dem Wochenende. Ich habe 3 Nachrichten gesendet, in denen ich um ein Update gebeten wurde, nur um die Antwort "Wir sind zu beschäftigt, bitte keine E-Mail" zu erhalten. Wenn ich Probleme beim Bezahlen mit Karte hatte, behaupteten sie, ich würde kein deutsches Konto verwenden, wenn ich das tatsächlich tue. Fauler, nutzloser Service, der nicht einmal versucht zu helfen. Schreckliche Gesellschaft, ich werde hier nicht wieder bestellen."

"I ordered a small item which took 6 days to arrive. I missed the delivery attempt and DHL delivered to a destination ready for me to pick up about a 50 minute walk away. This was apparently agreed with the consignee.
I would not buy again from this company and would highly recommend you purchase from an alternative source or company."

I bought Dyson handheld vacuum cleaner which is not covered by Dyson UK.waste on money they offered return at my cost which is very high for Germany. outer box received broken,items inside not properly packed look like some one just through inside from returned items. now if i send it back they can refuse to accept it."
"Utter Rubbish. UK Buyers Avoid. Do not be duped by the alternate.co.uk website address. These are German/European products.
I ordered a Bosch AVR 1100, which arrived quickly enough, however there was no power cord, the booklet clearly stated for UK use only, so first I contacted Bosch who told me to return it to the supplier.
When I contacted Alternate they were not interested after several emails I advised that I would have to pay for the return, eventually, after several more emails, they relented and sent me a postage label, however I am still waiting for my refund which they refused until they have the product back.
Tina Kring has since advised me that ‘They are a German Company and sell European Units’ which are a different specification to the UK market.
Therefore please take this into account when you think you are saving a few quid, as I did!
