"I am appalled by the price of projector bulbs. They appear to be made by the same people who make color toner cartridges for printers. I am giving Apex Lamps a try because they appear to be cheaper than most other places if only by a little. Their shipping options are very limited and expensive. Put these bulbs in a flat rate box using USPS and save your (valued?) costumer some money.
Surprise! Surprise! There is still customer service within online stores. I received a call from Apex customer service department soon after tagging them and leaving my first review. They put my bulbs in a flat rate box and saved me thirty dollars in shipping. The bulbs are still way too expensive but I am upgrading my rating to four stars because apparently this company cares about their customers. Thanks Apex!"
"I've been shopping around for Mitsubishi WD-52628 OEM Lamps. The problem is search engines (including GOOGLE and their ads) give you a lot of Non-OEM replacement lamp vendors. My experience is that Non-OEM replacement lamps last less than 1500 hours where as the real OEM lamps will last about 6000 hours. So for about 2-to-3 times the cost you get 4+ times the lamp life."
