"I bought The Delta Large Shield, 23 lbs was a bit heavier than expected, but I do like it.
It has a hook thing at the bottom which I will get a sling for to make it easier to carry around if needed.
I wish it had some labels or something stating what rating it is etc and not just what the website says. It does not even have the company name or logo.
It did take about 2-3 weeks to receive, made to order I believe. "

"I saw the deal on Facebook, but when u went to the site i couldn't get the deal. later I got an email with a similar deal (bogo backpacks) but it was for 40 more. I still thought it was a good deal so tried to buy. it was never clear whether the 2 for 1 was added but I took the chance. I think it worked but am still waiting...
Edit - I spoke to customer service and apparently the deal they advertised changed from 124 to 148 but with a 20% off coupon. Still somewhat clumsy to make the purchase but it all turned out ok so I am editing my review."

"So yesterday, 9/4/2024, after the school shooting in Georgia.. I added the bogo backpacks for my kids to my cart. The base price was $148 and there was a coupon to use with it bringing the price down to $118 and the $16 for shipping. This morning 9/5/2024 I went back in to order (waited for pay day) and they weren’t in the cart. Went back to add them back to the cart to buy them and the base price jumped up to $199. After the promo code and shipping here I am paying over $165 for what would have, before the shooting, cost me around $135, now cost $30 more. Talk about profiting more off of another tragedy. I still placed the order because I have to protect my kids as best I can, but jolting the price up to make more profit after a tragedy like that is just wrong. "

It was already on our website planning callendar to remove the BOGO deal completely from the website due to being low on raw materials for the 3A soft armor. Instead of removing it, we did increase the price, but still kept the BOGO available to not take that away completely for our customers. Demand has been very high for this deal even before the tragedy yesterday and we are doing our best to avoid having to implement lead times on the items. Thank you for your understanding. "This was my first time ordering from AR 500, after seeing another school shooting, I decided my wife and daughter who are both teachers needed some sort of protection because I know they will stand between their kids and trouble. It said the product was in stock so we will see how long it takes to come in, and we will evaluate and give a report of what we think of them when they come in. "
