"FRAUDULENT. Received restore disks after 10 phone calls each with multiple transfers and "customer service" confusion in each call; some calls were over an hour. VERY frustrating and lengthy and many weeks later, 4 disks arrived - at least two contained the same restore data and the system would not complete the restore. Sent back and received the SAME disks with the SAME errors. Each set of disks contained handwritten data taped on them and clearly were a copy of someone else's computer and were not manufacturer issued. Most "customer service" barely spoke English. Wrote the E-Store President and never received a reply. Money never refunded. Next stop is California Attorney General."
"Asus company in my opinion is very disreputable. I bought an all in one computer that requires a wall mount adapter, which is now out of stock almost everywhere and seemingly discontinued. I went to their web site to get suggestions as to how to wall mount the computer. They referred me to asus estore and when I ordered the item I was told the warehouse was down for repairs and it would be two weeks before shipment. Now I am told it will be another two weeks. It is looking more and more like a scam. I will never buy any asus products again."
"I hate asus estore. I ordered a restore disk for my computer, only to find that the order didn't go through. I then ordered it again, only to find the same thing. I then contacted an ASUS representative and was told that there was a problem with the website so it would be down for maintenance. The website was down for the next 3 weeks, then when it came back up, i ordered the same thing FOR A THIRD TIME. It has now been five business days since I ordered the restore disk so i decided to check the status of it. IT HASN'T SHIPPED YET. This has been a very frustrating experience as for the whole time I have waited my computer is useless as the windows file is corrupt (the restore disk will fix this). I am never buying from asus again."
