"Bottom line is CallVantage a nice idea but you can't make a phone call. I order ATT CallVantage VOIP. Received the TA with no problem. Activated the service no problem. Transfered my Verizon number, big mistake. The Callvantage would not work. Voices unclear, loose dial tone, drop calls, reboot the cable modem. Call ATT tech. support dozens of times, spent hours on the cell phone running up my mins. Tech support says many cordless phones don't work, many routers don't work with CallVantage, so remove them from my hardware, still not working. It has been a month and I still have no home phone service. Called Verizon over a week ago to get switched back to conventional phone service with them. They contact ATT to ask for my number back. ATT is so swamped with people canceling the service there is a two week delay in processing request. Called ATT they say they can't handle all the cancellations have turn some of the work over to another office to help. I will be without a home phone for 6 weeks by the time I an switched back to Verizon. "
