I purchased a workstation (#AVA-389908) three years and two months ago. a couple months ago it suffered a hard drive failure, so I contacted AVA for help. There were a couple of initial false starts on AVA's part, probably owing to the fact that the computer was purchased so long ago, but eventually, AVA got me back up and running.

I know that times are probably pretty tough in the custom PC business right now, so I especially wanted to express my appreciation for this company, and how they have stood behind their product for me. No other computer vendor that I have dealt with in the past has reached out to help like AVA did- I don't want to mention names, but I've owned computers from many of the top companies going back to the DOS.

"I had been shopping around online to all the major sites, Xotic, Cyberpower, Alienware, etc. searching, building, and comparing a new customized gaming laptop since last year. I decided to go with AVADirect because they had the customization I wanted at the lowest price and held the highest number of positive reviews out of all the sites I visited. I customized and ordered my Clevo P1050EM with a 3rd gen i7 quad core, 16GB RAM, GTX 680M, and a Momentus 750GB hybrid drive, as well as an external WD My Passport last month. The customer service staff was very supportive in letting me know exactly what was going on with the computer, as far as what stage of processing it was in and when it could be expected. Despite a small delay in the testing stage which they were happy to explain, the whole process took about a month to arrive which is about average with any company I've seen. When it did arrive, I was happy to see the care that was taken to pack it safely and carefully to prevent any harm in the near cross country trip. After installing my OS and updating everything I was even more pleased to see that everything was exactly as it should be and working perfectly. This machine has gone above and beyond even my wildest expectations as far as performance goes. This is easily the most superior machine I've ever used, and in a few years when I'm ready to retire this and upgrade again, AVADirect will be the ONLY website I visit.

Unless you're a fan of paying more money than you should for a product that hasn't been tested enough if at all, and will last half its life expectancy because of bugs, breaks, malfunctioning hardware... then feel free to go elsewhere. If you want the best products customized to your specs, tested thoroughly, assembled professionaly with care and delivered promptly without issue; all for the lowest price out there, then AVADirect should be your destination!"

I am a novice with computer hardware, but I had decided to try my hand at building my own rig. Months of research later, I stumbled into the AVADirect website and looked around. My computer arrived packed securely in a padded box within a box full of shock absorbing peanuts with a handy guide to unpacking. Inside the case was additional padding to prevent movement of the internal parts, primarily the heavy CPU cooling tower. I was up and running within 20 minutes.

All parts and packaging were included in the shipping box including unused cables, screws, even the empty tube of thermal compound! Also included were all the manuals. The results of AVADirect's extensive testing prior to shipment were included on the drive of the computer. The total time from order to shipping was 13 business days, but the results were well worth the wait. Rome wasn't built in a day and neither is a computer built with this much care and craftsmanship.

My new computer is a thing of beauty and efficiency. All the wires and cables in the case are out of sight, creating an open case with terrific airflow. My CPU is a 6-core 3930 with a GeForce 670 and I did not want a liquid cooling system. My worries about heat were quickly dispelled as the core temperature under full load with a 26C ambient room hover around 40C thanks to the great airflow generated by the case fans. It is so quiet I hardly even notice it is there. Super fast, rugged, well constructed - I look forward to years of enjoyment using my new AVADirect computer.

I am very pleased with my new computer from AVADirect. In fact, I was so happy with my purchase, within days of receiving my unit, I ordered a new laptop for my wife. It should be arriving soon and I look forward to opening another AVADirect box.
