" Several years ago, I wanted a new, hot, top-of-the-line gaming rig -- but I ain't rich. I specced out a good machine at Alienware that I couldn't afford, and then I searched around for a company that would use the same parts, but not the fancy Alienware chassis and all. And I found AVA Direct, where I saved about 800 bucks.
When it came time to upgrade, I got a new system in 06, and one in 09. I used to order component parts and build my own rigs, but I'm too old for messing with that. AVA Direct builds my rigs for me. I sent a message saying I wanted a stick that goes into the rig from order number blah blah blah, and they sent me a link to the pages where they sell the memory.

"Configuring and orderig my system with AVA Direct was the best decision I could have made in regards of replacing my older computer. I was considering another online builder but due to AVA Direct providing the biggest selection of components, I decided to give them a try. After researching the various components that I wanted for my new system, I went through the online configuration page and pressed the place order button. Once I placed my order, a customer service rep was assigned to my build and he was there for me to answer questions and also to record any special instructions I had such as drive letter assignments, paging file location, etc. Not only did he ensure the build went without a hitch, but he also followed up once I received the system. That brings me to another point, the packaging. I was amazed at how well the system was packed. I had them remove the graphics card due to its's weight and they packaged it separately. Both the computer and card was package very professionally. Once I received the system, I placed the graphics card back in the machine and it fired up without any difficulties. It now has been running for 5 days and I have yet to have any difficulties. I highly recommend anyone wanting to custom build their own computer but doesn't have the time nor tools to ensure all devices are functioning correctly to order from AVA Direct. I will be ordering another replacement system in the near future and will return to AVA Direct. Excellent experience!!!"

"I would encourage anyone in the market for a custom computer (or even a basic desktop) to order from AVADirect. I recommend AVADirect without hesitation. On August 25 I placed an order for a custom gaming desktop through AVADirect's website. Their configurator is easy to use, offers significant variety and options for all components, and displays the model number for each component. This last point is important, as AVA's competitors do not list the model numbers; because AVA does, you know EXACTLY what component you're getting.

The prices are very reasonable - the markup is insignificant and well worth the professionalism of the build.

Communication with customer service is excellent. They provide a message system through the website and they're very responsive. They also always answer the phone and wait times on hold are short to nonexistent. Much better than the major manufacturers.

The system itself is flawless. It was double-boxed for protection, well packaged with packing peanuts and foam blocks, and comes with complete instructions. They literally give you the manuals and extra hardware for all your components, in addition to drivers.

The wait time between the date of order and shipping can be a bit long, but it's a fair price to pay for amazing custom builds. I even made two last minute changes (added two components) and they still only needed 1 extra day to complete the build.

They benchmark and test the PC for 72 hours before shipping, and the benchmark results are included when it arrives.

Overall, my experience with this company was amazing! They're responsive, professional, and incredible at what they do. I will definitely buy a computer from them in the future.
