"Very satisfied with the quality of the micro-atx work/gaming machine I had AVA build for me. Found customer service very responsive which is something I appreciate when spending top dollar on a rig. A little pricier than I would have liked and took about two weeks to get delivered but I am overall very satisfied with the product and would recommend to anyone with knowledge of computer components but without the time or patience to construct a computer on their own. One other thing: I hate UPS shipping but the computer arrived alright and the packaging was very secure. "

charge went thru. 7 days later, emails said everything was fine, but message on the online account said they were out of the CPU. they need $30 for an "upgrade", no downgrade available & it wont ship in time. to change the address is an additional $30 and we're out of ANOTHER part, you should upgrade!
this is not the good deal it was. to cancel is 10% and 15% to restock a pc they didn't have . they want $100 for doing nothing.
on top of that the guy isn't understanding or courteous.

"Based on experience obtained from previously purchasing PC's from custom builders, I fully expected to have problems with the PC when I received it from AVA. However, much to my suprise and great pleasure, I received an undamaged (e.g. due to shipment) and working to perfection PC from AVA. It worked great right out of the box! The shipping packaging was excellent and expecially the instructions included that explained how to unpack the PC. Then to make the purchasing experience even greater, the PC came with the two extra SATA cables I had requested be wired in the case (for my use in installing two hard drives from my old PC).What a very pleasant experience to find that a firm did exactly what they had said they would! "I recommend AVADirect highly. While it took a while for my custom computer to be finished, it was well worth the wait. I felt very confident in the degree of testing they did on my order before they shipped it.

Communication before, during, and after the sale was excellent. They worked with me to make sure the parts of my custom order would integrate well, recommending some changes when a substitution could save money for equivalent or better quality. I was impressed with the knowledge of the sales rep I consulted with.

When I decided to make a change in my order after I submitted it, they accepted the change graciously and processed it immediately to minimize delay in the assembly.

The computer was exceedingly well packaged and they sent ALL the unused bits, manuals, and disks to me. I received everything I would have had if I had ordered the parts retail and assembled the computer on my own. Their cable management was excellent.

When after six days I had a problem accessing my main drive, the service techs helped me examine the problem while shipping me a replacement. When it turned out that the problem was something I had done, having nothing to do with the hardware or their installation, they never made me feel bad. Instead they helped me get my BIOS back in order and my computer running again and accepted the opened but not used replacement drive RMA.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. It took a little bit of time and cost some money, but I got exactly what I wanted, a high quality product assembled and tested professionally by very competent people."

I reconfigured an ASUS G73J series machine to my specs and ordered off their website. Website was clear and easy, just what I was looking for. After that everything was neat and clean. "I bought two Clevo D900F notebooks from AVA Direct this summer for use as high-def video editing workstations and am very happy with both the products and the flexibility of the AVA team.

Not only does AVA offer by far the richest selection of configuration and component choices of all gaming notebook vendors, but they also went out of their way to accommodate some special shipping requirements that came up at the last minute.

I have since contacted the tech support team about a couple of things and both times the AVA contact was professional and thorough in his follow up of my problem.

"My experience with AVA Direct was generally excellent: they were very responsive, and helped me select a configuration adapted to my needs. I also found their prices to be comparable to similar configurations elsewhere. My only criticism would be the month I had to wait between placing my order and actually receiving the computer (according to them, the normal wait for custom PCs is 2-3 weeks), but the reason for the wait was to replace a faulty component (found during testing), so it was worth it! My PC works great and I would definitely recommend AVADirect."

"I had previously purchased a computer 3 yrs ago from AVA and the system is still going. I decided it was time for an upgrade and went back to AVA Direct for my next machine. When it arrived the rear and side case fans weren't working, the front digital readout wasn't working, and Windows was blue screening. They gave me a return shipping lable to send it back. I decided that I wanted my money back because I would rather get a tower from someone else that could build it right but they decided to charge me a restocking fee of 15% for a defective product. They stated there wasn't anything wrong with it when they got it back. Do you they think I make up all these things wrong with it? Do they think I really wanted to pack it all up and ship it back because there wasn't anything wrong with it? Buyer beware."
