"Looking at the previous reviews, this company has been around for quite a while. I bought one Somfy motor, drive and crown for my Hunter Douglas blinds to make sure everything worked okay It turned out this was a new model just put out by Somfy and was not compatible with the crown and drive that AV outlet sent to me. I notified AV outlet by email of the problem and received a response within two hours. They acknowledge that the crown had changed and they very promptly ordered a new crown from Somfy which I received within about 10 days. I have since ordered 26 motors and associated hardware which all came quicker than I expected given the Covid 19 issues and the entire order was correct.
These guys respond quickly to the customer, they offer great advice, know their products well, and work very hard to correct any issues quickly. It seems like a lot of companies after they have been in existence several years let their customer service slip, however these guys are still working very hard to make it right. I would recommend them without reservation."

"Best experience I ever had with customer support from these guys. One of my customers asked for custom motorized shades to be installed on 5'x5' windows. I've checked 5 websites and finally found AV-Outlet as most affordable for my project. I decided call this company. Ken answered the phone and adviced to get material samples first, so my customer can chose desired color, after 2 days I found nice catalog in my post box with color samples.
After my customer picked Mushroom color I called again, and this time Sue answered the phone.
I gave her color and measurement, she asked couple options and after 2 weeks I got complete package delivered to my door.
Installation was easy just connected the power and IR sensor, some limit adjustments and I'm done.
Since I've installed universal remote for this customer I learned universal remote to operate the shades and now when customer turn on projector, shades rolled down for complete darkness during sunny day.
