"Wish I read the reviews before purchasing. Made a purchase on 1/4 and never received anything saying they shipped my item. I called them today 1/8 and was told that they do not have the item I purchased and that my order was cancelled....but never notified me."
"They will send you what you did not order. When you send back whatever they sent, at your cost, they will claim that your delivery confirmation is false. Then they will promise to send what you ordered, but they won't send anything. Then they will promise a refund, but they won't give you a refund. Then they'll forget they promised a refund and they'll say what you ordered is out of stock, and they'll get some more in a few weeks, even though what you ordered is still for sale on their web site.
Go ahead and call them. They'll just string you along. You won't get what you ordered and you won't get your money back."

"I would not recommend purchasing sunglasses from A Pair of Shades. The sunglasses I bought had to be returned because one of the lenses popped out and were of low quality. I have waited several weeks for my sunglasses to be returned back to me, to soon find out that the lenses would not work for the frame I bought. I have constantly tried contacting them with questions about my sunglasses and each time I would speak to someone different they would tell me that I would be receiving them shortly. It wasn’t until recently that I called and found out that there was a problem. For some reason, they did not bother to contact me about the problems. It has been very frustrating and annoying. If you were to purchase sunglasses I would recommend the actual manufacturer of the sunglasses."
"I ordered a replacement clip-on shades (mine were stolen!) for a pair of MDX s3135 and got it one day early for a much better price than at the optometrist. The gal on the phone was nice as well. The only thing is that they don't have an automated tracking system or anything to track the package. I'd still buy from here again if I needed something."
"This was my second time ordering from the site. The first time was for x-mas. I was ordering a pair of sunglasses for my husband, after not receiving them 3 weeks later, I called only to hear they had been discontinued. I tried again on March 7, ordered a pair from the site, called one week later to get an ETA, and was told they were special ordered and would arrive shortly...4 days later I get an e-mail telling me they were "phased out" and I wasn't charged, and my order was cancelled! Bad customer service! Updating the website would be helpful! I will never use them again! Highly dissapointed!1"
"Over about a 10 year period, I have made about 5 on-line sunglass purchases from this store. The prices are phenomenal and they have items in stock that most places don't. There has never been a hassle when ordering and my sunglasses have arrived in a timely manner. The only drawback was that the website says you can track packages, but I never received a tracking number. It wasn't a big concern since my most recent shipment arrived within 6 days. I highly recommend this store."
