"My purchase experience was terrible. I ordered a Movado watch that should have shipped in 3 to 4 weeks. Six weeks passed and I still didn't have it. When I called to cancel my order the owner Marc actually called me a moron. This was just because I asked why I couldn't cancel on the phone vs sending an email. I could not understand why he'd be so rude. I called back to tell him that I had sent the cancellation email, and he said "Congratulations" and hung up on me. "SUMMARY:
Run, do not walk, away from AaronsWatches. They delivered me broken
merchandise, refused to return my money, and fight hard against credit
card disputes. I have had to return a broken watch to them three
times and had to initiate two credit card disputes, and I still
haven't gotten my money back.
THE STORY:
I ordered a new watch from AaronsWatches. They shipped me a broken
watch (the hands did not even move). The watch was never worn and was
broken upon receipt. I called and told them it was broken, and they
said to send it back and they would replace it with a new one. A week
later, I received a watch that was quite clearly the same watch they
had originally sent, as it was no longer in the original shrinkwrap.
Alas, the repaired watch still did not work. The hands moved, but it
lost time (over 10 minutes in one day). I called Aarons and told them
that the watch was broken, and that I was unhappy that they had sent a
used/repaired watch instead of a new one. I told them that I would
give them one more chance to send me a new watch, or that they should
return my money. They said to send the watch back and that this time,
they would send a new watch. So, I sent the watch back.
A week later, I got a message on my answering machine from someone at
Aarons. They said that they had found a replacement for the broken
part in the watch and had fixed it, and were sending it back. I
called back the next morning and recounted the story with them,
reminding them of what they had promised, and told them that their
only option was to send me a new watch or give me my money back. They
then lied and said we had scratched the watch (it had never been worn)
and therefore were not entitled to a new watch. I told them that I
would refuse receipt of the item, and that they should return my
money. They said they would not do so and also would not send me a
new watch, even after I returned the watch for the third time.
I refused receipt of the watch and initiated a dispute with my credit
card company. AaronsWatches is fighting the dispute with all in their
power. After talking later with a rep at the credit card company, I
believe that Arron's lied to them both about damage to the watch and
said that I had not returned the watch within 30 days (even though the
*third* return had been within 30 days). Then, to "resolve the
dispute", Aarons told the credit card company that they had issued me
a "store credit" (they had not), which was no different than the
situation I was currently in. Unfortunately, the credit card company
accepted this as resolution. Fortunately, the credit card company was
happy enough to let me re-initiate the dispute after explaining that I
was not happy with this resolution. That's where I currently stand."
"I purchased a Gucci watch from this site. The problem started when I wanted to exchange the original watch. I spoke to a person called "Inno". He sent me another watch. This time the watch was in a very bad shape and appeared worn for a long period. I called them up they told me to send the watch back again and they will reship another one of-course with shipping expenses from my own pocket. I did so. A few days later, I received a watch with no serial number and in the similar condition (cleaned-up though). I believe they cleaned up the same watch, remove the serial number and sent back the same watch while I am paying additional shipping charges. This time they refused to admit that this is a used watch. A horrible experience for me to purchase a watch from this site"

"Before submitting my order to this site, I specifically sought advice via telephone from one "Mark," its presumed owner and expert on Cartier watches. Mark advised me that everything he sells was "brand new" (see the same claim on the site). Not only was the $3066 watch severely worn, its base was screwed in upside down, its S/N was scratched out, and Cartier refused to even inspect it because it came from Peru! Of course, Mark refused to claim the merchandise upon return. Neither my entreaties nor that of the BBB of NY moved Mark and his site. This site is FRAUDULENT and engages in DECEPTIVE sales practices, and every person born of woman should stay miles away from it!"
