"I had a problem with a computer case that I purchased last December from Aberdeen. After first trying to work with Aberdeen's customer service, Deanna Jolin in RMA/Technical Support contacted me and was very helpful in getting me a replacement case front panel. She took care of everything very quickly, including the shipping. I am extremely happy with her support/results."
"I learned of Aberdeen through a colleague. I needed a pc for a remote user and found that the bare bones system would meet that need perfectly. Recently, we had an issue where this PC simply stopped booting. I contacted Aberdeen via email and DeAnna Jolin fielded the problem like a allstar shortstop. She provided guidance and was very responsive. I wonder if Aberdeen is hiding more like her... Anyway, being able to go back to a vendor for guidance on a purchased product is vital. There really are people (DeAnna) behind the Aberdeen website and I'd shop there again."
"The Tech/RMA department in general and DeAnna Jolin in particular are absolutely second to none. I actually had a case earlier this summer where a motherboard I ordered arrived with a problem. DeAnna responded to my e-mail within 15 minutes (!), and truly went the extra mile to resolve my problem. Incredible level of service, I have never had better from any vendor!"
"they were highly recommended to me by a friend who has purchased quite a bit from them through their auction site."
"THE GRANDSONS GRADUATION GIFT WAS SAVED BY DEANN.....
THE COMPUTER UNIT WAS SENT WITHOUT A MANUAL OR DISK.
THE SALES DEPT WAS OF LITTLE HELP AFTER MANY CALLS. AND ETERNAL "HOLD" BUT DEANN FOUND THE NECESSARY INFORMATION AND EVEN CALLED US BACK TO CONFIRM IT WAS ON ITS WAY THANKS FOR HELP

"Have always had a good purchasing experience with Aberdeen, Inc.
Good products and good prices and good service."
"I order from these people all the time, over $10,000 per year. I get what I need 99% of the time. In cases where they are out of stock they always have provided me with an option of upgrading for free to get whatever it was from what they did have in stock. In the last 3 years, I have had about 3 things I’ve had to send for RMA. All were resolved satisfactorily, but were pretty slow. If I were to say anything negative about this company, it would be that they need to speed up the whole operation.
That said, they aren’t too slow to use, and they’re web interface is about one of the best out there for people like me who need to configure computers from scratch components to do specific tasks. They even check the RAM and proc with the MB before they send it.
I give them a 9, only because I wish they were faster, and they charge too much for shipping. But for these ease of dealing with everyday orders, they’re one of the best.

"Ordered an MSI K7N (nForce) motherboard from this company. I got an email back three days later saying they could not ship my order because the shipping address was different from the billing address. I responded to the email by telling them just to ship the order to the billing address. I heard nothing for another three days and finally got frustrated enough that i called them and cancelled the order. I was told over the phone i would not be billed. A day after canceling the order, I got another email again stating that because the billing address was different from the shipping address, the order was on hold. WOW thats some mad incompetence right there! I still have not been credited for the order, despite what i was told over the phone. That's strange though...because most companies won't charge your credit card until the order actually ships.
On a side note, I ordered the same motherboard from NewEgg.com the day i cancelled the order from Aberdeen. The prices there were so much better that i was actually able to have the same part overnighted and rushed with FEDEX for the same price as ordering the part 2nd day UPS from aberdeen. The part arrived in the morning the next day and i actually had it in my hands when i got the second email from aberdeen. Kind of leaves me wondering why aberdeen is pretty much unresponsive to emails and takes so long to process an order, especially when they charge so much more than other companies. I would not do business with this company again...but I would highly recommend newegg.com. "
"It sadens me to see such negative comments about this company. I have been working in the IT field for a numbe of years and so far Aberdeen is one of the best out there. Their components and custermer service rivals that of large companys such as Dell and Gateway When problems arise they are few and far between. The are taken care of quickly and in a profecional maner. I support around 55 active clients and hundreds of computers and have no problem using or recomending parts and computers from Aberdeen."
"Addendum: 11/5/2002.
Aberdeen inc saved the day! "Again!" I had what I believed was a malfunctioning MOBO and sent it in to Aberdeeninc. The very day it was delieved to aberdeen, their technician called me and asked for detailed information on the problem. ( He would call me two more times to inquire exactly how the MOBO was performing). With Deanna Jolin help, the technician found that the problem was incompatible ram! I used same type, but different manufacture! The technician repacked the mobo, so all I had to do was remount it. I turned it on over 2 1/2 weeks ago, and it is one smoking MOBO!
Aberdeeninc is still, the only company I'm refering customers to. You can't beat this A-1 service. They haven't let me down.
This is the last of the comments I will make about my experience with Aberdeen, regarding a Tyan S2390B mobo, which was RMA'ed and the follow up replacement of a ASUS A7N266. I received all of the shipments well before they were expected.( The Ram actually arrived 3 days before it was scheduled!) After taking a quick, but very causious trial in mounting the cpu fan on a Athlon XP processor, I assembled the mobo kit and, PRESTO! It fired right up, and has been passing all my burn in tests with flying colors ( Quake III time demo, Recoil, ect) Aberdeen has bent over backwards in trying to correct a unavoidable accident: someone got sick and a error was made. They even went so far as to offer to trade one of my components which I didn't trust, for SDRAM! I am changing my rating of Aberdeen to one of excellence. Aberdeen doesn't manufacture motherboards, but they do take the heat when something goes wrong. It did this time, and I apologize if any of my uncalled for comments caused distress. I have, am and shall reconmend Aberdeen inc as a reliable, responsible company, who employs very knowledgeable and helpful people. "Thanks Aberdeen"
(I turned down the offer for SDRAM-the component worked, I just didn't feel comfortable using it.)"
"I ordered a barebones rackmount server that was supposedly in stock. It took Aberdeen over a week and half to get it to UPS and then I still had to wait for UPS to get it to me. When it arrived the server had obviously been used (the internal packaging was out of place and showed signs of wear) and damaged (the damage was to internal components on the Motherboard that could not have taken place during shipping. Additionally, parts that come standard with the rackmount case were missing. I ordered an identical item from another reseller before returning the original to Aberdeen. It arrived in mint condition and with the missing parts. Aberdeen charged me a restocking fee since I refused to let them replace the item. I was out over $200. "
"Ordered a processor and video card. Waited five days and then stared inquiring. On the seventh day I finally heard that the processor was out of stock. Sorted that out and the order still wasn't shipped. Sent a couple more emails and followed up with a phone call. Found out the video card was on backorder (this was the 10th day). Finally cancelled ... should have looked at resellerratings.com first!!!"

"It took from 4/06 until 4/12 to get my order out of accounting. It took two more days to ship the product.
It should not take more than 24 hours to process and ship an order for a motherboard and processor. No burn-in required."
"I will ordering my third server from Aberdeen, since January. I was a little scared at first going into unknown territory but I want the best and at the best price. Had some problems with the hard drives and power supply but my sales rep had it under control in no time. They have the best warranty and they really know there stuff. Keep up the good work!"
