"Short of it was that I placed an order, got confirmation of my order being accepted and processing, heard nothing for several days, got generic email that just said my order amount was refunded to credit card, got absolutely no communication of what or why, and then waited another few days to actually see refund sent to my card. Has been NO response to my email inquiring as to what happened. Based on such a poor business experience and enough other options available…I won’t be using this one again."

"Purchased my cigars in late August 2020. USPS tracking number provided which shows package sent but then no further movement for 3 weeks. After expected delivery date passed I lodged a PayPal claim. Absolute Cigars only response about 10 days later was to send PayPal Resolution Centre the tracking number which we already had. Absolute Cigars then without warning blocked my account from their website & did not respond to my emails asking for a reason. I can only assume it was because I lodged a dispute with PayPal who found in my favour and refunded my money. Absolute Cigars’ website is full of positive reviews however, if you read their FAQs it says they do not post negative feedback. I should have read their reviews on independent sites such as this one. DO NOT RISK BUYING FROM ABSOLUTE CIGARS."

I read through all their marketing and they seem like a legitimate company, l ordered cigars and paid for them. I received an invoice and that has been the last I have heard from absolute cigars. "After reading so many reviews, I was hesitant about buying cigars from oversees but took a chance on ordering from absolutecigars. If I was unlucky and got stuck with an import tax charge (Ireland), I could return them and they would refund my money minus the delivery charge which was decent. They had a great selection to choose from and every cigar was well described. I received my delivery a week after ordering and everything was packed safely and the box of cigars looked exactly like the site picture. The cigars themselves are perfect. I didnt get stuck for import tax and I am very happy that I ordered from these guys and they will get my business next time as well."

"I was a repeat customer of Absolute cigars. I live in Calgary Alberta Canada and had purchased from them two times previously with no issues. My third purchase however was for a 5 cigar sampler pack for 38$ US. When it got to Canada it was hit with a 143$ tax/duty charge. Im not sure how that number was determined but at any rate I refused to pay that much and told the clerk at the Post Office to send them back. Somehow my credit card was charged as well for return postage, I contacted customer service and was told when they received them back that I would be refunded. That was over 3 months ago and now they won't return any of my messages or emails through their customer service email. Complete rip-off and I'm out 50$ Canadian. I will spread the word about this unethical company who rip people off of their hard earned money."

They ignored every email and their phone line is clearly a fake as nobody ever answers no matter what time of day you call. They took my money, a significant amount, and have not sent anything.
