"In general, I received great service from Abt for the delivery of my new washer. My only complaint is that, when I ordered online, there was no option for the install new & haul-away old washer package. At the time of my order, I asked about the cost for haul-away and was told that it would be $39 for both install of new & haul-away of old. At check-out, there was no option for both, so I chose the option for install ($29). The day scheduled for delivery, I initiated an online chat with a customer service representative who again quoted me the price of $39 for both install of new & haul-away of old. However, when the delivery-people arrived, they said it would be an additional $29 (added to the $29 I'd already paid online) for haul-away, and even with showing them the transcript of my online chat, they were unable to confirm the price I had been quoted, even with calling customer service themselves. I was able to reconcile the situation by calling customer service myself, explaining both $39 quotes and the refusal of the delivery-people to accept it, and they allowed me to pay the additional $10 over the phone for the haul-away of the old washer. It's unfortunate that there was no box to check at check-out when I ordered the washer to get the $39 deal, and I feel that Abt should make that available if they are going to quote that price, because many people may not persevere as much as I did. However, the delivery-people were still very nice and respectful even in our discussion of this issue."
