"I ordered a Canon digital camera in November to give to my fiance' for Christmas. I received a phonecall the next day to verify my information and they said that it would be here in 14 days. I waited and waited and called up today to get the tracking info. At this time, I found out that it was backordered and wouldn't be shipped until January. NEVER received a phonecall or email or anything to let me know that my order wouldn't be coming. Now it's too late to go with anyone else. I'm in tears. PLEASE don't buy from these people - they are TERRIBLE."

"Called in on a Sunday to ask a question. Person that answered suggested I place the order over the phone. Very aggressive but courteous trying to sell accessories, warranties, etc. I didn't receive an e-mail confirmation so called back on Monday to find out the status. Same person said that the product had shipped. I paid for normal shipping and received it about 3 days after the order was placed. Pleased with service and delivery."
"Classical bait and swith operation! They do have very low prices. However, once you order they telephone with a transparently phoney "security" question and then try to sell accessories. If you buy no accessories they tell you that the item is unavailable and is back ordered and will take weeks to replensih. They then add they maintain NO STOCK ON HAND but drop ship all sales.
Pay a few dollars more at a well known reliable vendor."

"I placed an order with access2digital the morning of Friday, August 3rd, 2007. They called me back that day to supposedly "verify" my credit card to prevent fraud. The call was nothing more than a high-pressure sales pitch for over-priced accessories and warranties. My credit card or billing information was never mentioned. Their website advertises 5 to 7 day standard shipping. A week later I called back to confirm my TV had shipped and get an expected delivery date. I was informed they did not have any shipping information. They would have to contact the warehouse and then call me back. They never called me back. I submitted my request via email on their website that same day. There was no response to my email. I called back again the following Monday and was told my TV was out of stock and was not expected to ship until the end of the month. I asked for a manager, and was told he was out. I asked for him to call me back. He never did. I called back for the manager the next day. He was out again; no return call. I Called back the next day; I just missed him. I called back today (Thursday, August 16, 2007) and they are closed for a week doing "inventory." I cancelled my order and bought from another merchant. SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND DELAY, DON'T BUY FROM THEM!"
"Even though Access2Digital professes to have this item in stock, Sony DCD-DVR408, after they were done trying to load my order with packs they suddenly told me that no the item wasn't in stock. I had turned down all the addons and now,evidently, they would have to order from the Sony warehouse in New York. Two weeks is what I was told by their salesman Mark. That was just to fill the order. It would be up to another week before I received my order in the mail.Customers beware! If you don't accept their addons there is no telling when or if you'll receive your merchandise."
"I am just one person but I had a good experience with Access2 digital. I read some good reviews then ordered a Panasonic pvgs250 camcorder. Then I started reading some bad reviews and got worried. I had the same experience as just about every one else, I had to verify my order(acctually the credit card had a wrong address and I had to change it before they processed my order.) and got the pitch to buy accessories. No real pressure and I ended up not getting any. I hadn't heard from them for about a week and was getting more concerned. I called, talked to the representitive he gave me the tracking number and I had my camcorder the next day. The box was a little hammered but everything was there in new condition. They sent me a copy of the rebate form and invoice. For me I saved at least $100 over most online outlets and was very satisfied with price, service and experience. "I did get the best available price on the Sony Handycam DCR-DVD403 Camcorder; even got free shipping after I screamed about delay. DON'T ORDER FROM THIS MERCHANT unless you're VERY patient & very TENACIOUS. They do not communicate at all so I ended up phoning 4 times, listening to fairy tales like "it's being drop shipped from Sony, that's how we sell it so cheap." When it arrive, nearly 6 weeks after placing order, it was shipped from the merchant in Brooklyn, NY. Sony doesn't drop ship for any merchant. There are 2 things I believe: 1) Had I ordered some of the high-priced accessories they offered I would have gotten my item sooner and 2) Only because I kept phoning them repeatedly did I get it at all."
"I ordered a camcorder from this site on the 7th of Oct. It is now the 18th and they have yet to send me any conformation on shipment or what they are even doing about my order. I called them the day after my purchase, as instructed, and they told me that the camcorder was sold out (even though it said the exact opposite on the website) and that it would be shipped out on the 18th. Now on their website and very sketchy sounding phone number, it says that they are closed for the holidays on the 18th and 19th. What holiday's would those be? I could find none. What kind of a business would do that? I just pray that I get my camcorder and that I don't have to call and cancel it or worse...

"Ordered Elura 90 from access2digital.com. When I called the next day to confirm the order, I was asked to purchase accessories. I refused, they then told me that the camera can not be shipped the 2 day i requested. The would be doing a standard 5-7 day. I called back the end of the week, the order got pushed 1 week later from Canon. Called back 5 days later, same think. 1 week added. Every week I call, they give the same run around. Called Canon 09/17 they said they have no back order on this camera. They gave me a reseller to go to. Ordered from them, no problems. Avoid access2digital.com at all cost. Fraud. SCAM... BEWARE."

one I ordered. It took three weeks and six phone calls for them to sent the "right" one-- which STILL is not right. My case was supposed to be a Durahyde(leather like) material. The replacement was a nylon one that retails at $19.99.Neither of these pieces are sold by them. They don't answer e-mails--BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE--RUN!!!!
