"I purchased a battery and car charger for my Palm Treo 650 from Accessory Genie and I couldn't be happier with the company. The customer service was excellent, my products shipped promptly, and they got to me quicker than I expected. The prices were the lowest I could find and the products are top quality.
I have ordered several times from Accessory Genie and will continue to order from them in the future."
"Perfect transaction, excellant vendor - highly recommended! The batteries I purchased from them were a great deal. They last just as long if not longer than the original that came with my Sony DVD camcorder. "
"This company is pathetic. If you look closely at their feedback you notice a ton of mutually withdrawn feedbacks. They forced me into withdrawing my feedback. If they send the wrong item they want you to pay to send it back and then to reship the correct item. They have no concept of corporate responsibility. The owner of this company has the maturity level of a 12 year old boy. If you speak out against the mistreatment by this company they respond with negative, undeserved feedback. Check the feedback they leave for anyone who complains at their poor customer service and inability to rectify their mistakes. The same generic feedback is always left "*** Bad Partner, Stay Away........Let him learn elsewhere.. Trouble Maker **". It is amazing that ebay lets them get away with strong arming people the way they do. Myself and several other members of the ebay community who have deal with this are drafting a petition to send to ebay to hopefully have this company dealt with appropriately. I would NEVER do business with this company again, nor would I recomend anyone else do business with them. Stay away from this company, the bottom line is that when they make a mistake, and they will, they are highly incompetent, not only will you be rip[ped off financially and have to file a claim through paypal or your credit card, you will end up with retaliatory negative feedback for no reason other than to hurt your credibility and to force you into a mutually withdrawn. This is the kind of company that gives ebay a bad name. Don't waste your time or risk an undeserved blemish to your feedback by doing business with this company."
"eBay transaction. In five years of buying, this was the one and only really bad experience. Seller's third-party check out didn't work correctly, gave two CA sales tax figures + other problems. After payment and my complaint plus negative feedback, seller left false and retaliatory negative feedback for me (initially saying I had not paid), then refused to ship item or refund money until negative feedback was withdrawn. Looking at many instances of "mutally withdrawn feedback" in this store's eBay feedback history, such heavy-handed tactics seem to unfortunately sometimes work with other buyers.
Paypal quickly refunded my money and debited this store's account. I didn't need the item anyway, it turned out.
Other than being highly annoyed by the coercive & threatening emails and overall overbearing attitude of this store, there's no harm done. Other than a bit of time spent writing things like this, there's no loss.
This store sells a lot of items and it appears most transactions go well. The ones that don't however, are apparently ALWAYS the fault of the customer, according to this seller.
After leaving negative feedback with eBay for this seller and filing my Paypal claim, I have heard from other buyers who bought from this store. They, like me, really, really do not recommend buying anything from this seller.

"Accessorygenie is the WORST!!
Bought a battery for my Sony camcorder. Camcorder displayed "use only Info-Lithium battery" then shut down. I suggested they take my model of camera off the listing as a compatible camera for this battery. They responded with an offer to replace my battery with the same one, as long as I paid for return shipping/handling. I responded by telling them I didnt think I should pay S/H 3 times for the wrong product. I never returned my battery, as I already know this is the wrong one. I sent a NEUTRAL feedback stating I didnt like their return policy. Guess what? Negative retaliatory feedback stating I ordered the wrong battery!!!
I also received an e-mail stating how they cant believe I could do such a thing! This company is a joke!! DONT EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM!!
Just look at all the "mutually withdrawns" they have.
I still have this worthless battery...Im thinking of using my girlfriend's computer with a new Ebay ID and buying the cheapest item they have..then pounding them with a NEGATIVE and listing this website as a reference.
as a matter of fact...we should all do this!

"They screwed me over on combined shipping and then shipped me DEFECTIVE product. I returned the bad charger at my expense and they sent the SAME DEFECTIVE CHARGER back to me. After two months of bickering, I was BLACK-MAILED into dropping the negative feedback so that they would replace the charger with one that worked and remove the negative (unwarranted) feedback they left for me. The piece of crap charger cost more with all the extra shipping than it would have cost me to by the Sony brand at a local retail store. This business is nothing more than a MAJOR rip-off."
"This company went to a great deal of trouble to avoid repaying an unambiguous overcharge.
Dealing with them was awful,
I ordered 2 items from accessory genie and requested they ship in one package to save shipping charges; which they did, but charged full shipping for both items.
In the 20 to 30 emails that followed with the AG"help desk" the remitted a token amount of the shortfall. They also threatened retaliatory feedback ( which they did). They were argumentative, demeaning, insulting, placating without action and generally appeared to try to drag it out till i went away.
When I finally filed bad feedback they immediately filed undeserved bad feedback in return. Subsequently they sent emails that were an endless nuisance.
I did not deserve bad feedback from them.
All this bad behavior was over a matter of less than $5. I can't imagine how horrible they'd be over real money.
I'll never do business with them again and it makes me reluctant to deal with ebay too."
"Accessorygenie is a terrible company. I go buy a power adapter from them via eBay. I get the product and I pay for it via PayPal. Afterward, I get a email reminded me I have another outstanding payment for the same product I need to pay. It turns out, I have a duplicate transaction created on eBay. Instead of them satisfy me, by reverse that obviously mistake, they send me constant email threat to fix this problem or they will leave a bad remark.
So I did not want to have a bad remark, so I contact them via email and they say I have to pay $5 in order for for them to reverse the bogus order. Grudgingly, I do this and pay the $5. On Ebay, I have to rate Accessorygenie for this experience, and so I left them a negative remark. After that, I am flooded with emails from Accessorygenie threating to retaliate. At this point, I don't care and I told them to stop sending me their patronizing email as I don't care if they leave me a bad mark and I never intend to buy from them or use Ebay again. Again, they continue to send me email. I am begining to think this whole Ebay rating system is a complete farce--that is, if you leave seller a bad remark for any bad customer service, expect to get one back in return. I am so discourage from this experience, that I will never use Ebay again.

"I had the same bad experience as zjemi. Accessory Genie lost my order and payment. After I'd sent them several emails, to which the only response was useless "help links," I tried phoning them. There was no answer. I'd left voicemail messages, but received no reply. I finally got a "live" person on the phone, who said he'd would send out my product immediately by priority. I never received it! I had to call AGAIN about my item. This person then told me I had to EMAIL him the problem because he couldn't resolve it by phone. I was furious. I emailed him the information and I got an email saying it would be sent out along with a nice camera case as compensation. I got my item one week later. Guess what? The camera bag never came! So I emailed them about THAT! They said that bag would go out the same day and they apologized. Well, the bag that I received was a crappy piece of felt that was a poor excuse for a camera bag.
Since I left them bad feedback on EBay, they retaliated with bad feedback for me that reads, "BAD EBAYER - STAY AWAY." I've reported it to Ebay but haven't heard back yet."
"This seller substituted an inferior and unsuitable product and dared to include a printed notice that they had sent an “upgrade” at no charge to me. They advertised a pair of 1300mah InfoLithium compatible batteries for my Sony camcorder explicitly claiming each incorporated the chip that reports battery life, a feature required by most Sony camcorders. Instead, they sent 1160mah (weaker) batteries with NO chip. The product package made no mention of any chip although it did claim to be substitutable for the Sony battery. In response to my complaint, the seller insisted the package claim was correct but finally did agree to refund my purchase price. They refused to reimburse my shipping costs, even though the product had to be returned because of their error. The seller has a regular web store but I had purchased from them through eBay. When I posted feedback describing my experience, the seller posted retaliatory negative feedback for me, including the claim that I couldn’t read. After many emails from them requesting mutual feedback withdrawal, I was still unwilling to deprive other buyers of a chance to read about my experiences with them. I appealed to eBay arbitration, which decided the seller’s negative feedback was a false accusation and they cancelled it. I was not the only one subjected to this treatment; the seller also retaliated with negative feedback to every other eBay buyer who posted a complaint.
I’d advise against purchasing from them because: 1. They sent a product inferior to what they advertised. 2. They tried to cover this up by claiming it was an “upgrade.” 3. They did not know enough about their inventory to understand the requirements of Sony cameras, certainly not an obscure brand. 4. They refused to acknowledge they made an error. 5. They refused to reimburse shipping costs I incurred because they made a mistake. 6. They bully their eBay customers and post retaliatory feedback to discourage criticism.
I’m sorry ResellerRatings did not have a listing for them before I purchased. I hope this report will help others who might have considered buying from this dealer.
