Placed order - paid for order and prscribed shipping - received an email the next day stating that I would have to pay them additional money for shippping - cancelled order!"
"On 12/3/11, I place an order for a gorilla cart for my Dad for Christmas. I received email confirmation of my order and my credit card was immediately charged ($157.58). However, after two weeks, I had not received any type of correspondance related to shipping or item backorder. So, I sent an email to the support address provided with the original message. I received no response. On 12/20/11, I contacted the customer service department and was told that my order was cancelled. When I asked for an explanation as to why it as cancelled I was hung up on. I called back and asked to speak with a supervisor. I asked why I was not informed that my order had been cancelled. The so-called supervisor treated me so rudely and essentially told me that she was too busy to answer my questions. I will NEVER do business with this company again."
"Bad on line retailer. Placed an order they four days later they sent an email stating that it would be freight would be double. I called the number on the email a few times but the person answering quickly just stated to "Please hold" and I got stuck there for quite a minutes. Hanged up called back again and I was simply transferred to mail box two. Consequently I cancelled my order and reordered from another business. I also went to ups and a quick quote which came in at about the same as the original charge before this business doubled my freight. I would like to use use vulgar negative superlatives but I did not in fear this would not get published. I would, without a doubt, not recommend this business at all. "
"I ordered a Dyson Dc35 vacuum from these people on 25 Nov. They charged me that day, according to my credit card statement. 5 days later, I received 3 different emails stating that this was a special order, and that there were additional shipping/handling charges, resulting in additional charges (approx $11.00) I tried calling them several times over the next few days, got put on hold numerous times, or it was never answered. I finally reached someone today, who said that it was backordered, that it would be several more weeks, but that I wouldn't have to pay the additional charges. I decided to cancel my order and get my money back. Based on my research into their seller ratings, my frustration over them charging me for something that they said was in-stock, when it wasn't, their attempted extortion of additional charges, their poor customer service, and my lack of faith in their adhering to their obligations as a credit card merchant, I would be very wary about ordering from these people. We'll see how quickly they refund my money, since they were very quick at getting the charged amount the same day of the order...why do I have a funny feeling that won't be the same situation on the refund? Ace Hardware is a coop, not a franchise type operation, but the main group should really look at getting rid of this operator."

"I placed this order on 11/25/2011, it is 12/1 now and my item still hasn't shipped. I called them the last 3 days and their response is, it will go out today. The LAST 3 days I called they kept saying the same thing! Today I just called and she said the same thing again, it will go out today. There is nothing else that needs to be shipped, it will go out today. IT IS THE WORST ever to get my order processed and shipped if it will ever. and it cost me over $12 to ship?? INSANE if you ask me. If i had it shipped immediately i wouldn't mind so much but if you are going to take over a week to even ship the item, it is totally unacceptable. Do not order from them unless if you have all the time in the world to wait for your item.

"I would give them zero stars if I could. I contacted them with a concern regarding my order when I placed it, asking them not to ship if it couldn't be resolved. I never heard back from them, even though it took almost a week for them to actually dispatch the order.
When it arrived, the product was not as represented on their website. They responded once, unhelpfully, to an email requesting a return authorization. They have ignored follow-up emails.
The bad service and incompetence alone would be enough to warrant a single-star rating; ignoring emails from customers is shockingly bad business. I'm surprised they stay afloat.
Take your money elsewhere. You might have to pay a few bucks more than the price they list, but when they can't deliver the proper product or even bother to respond to customer concerns, it's not worth it to shop with these hacks."
"Ordered a bunch of Brown gutter parts. Got an email 5 days later that they only had 3 of one item. I replied they should substitue 7 white ones. 4 days later I get a call from there customer service people telling me the same thing. And another item is out of stock. We finally got that straightened out and I ended up with a $1.14 credit which they quickly applied to my card. But 1 week later and my order is finally shipped. If it wasn't for the prices, About %60 less then the store (after shipping) I would never order from them. Super slow shipping. and poor inventory control."
"They did have the product (apparently difficult to find as only a few sellers had it), but the shipping was horribly slow. Shipping was not free and for a 7lb box processing and delivery took 2 weeks. Was shipped Fedex "SmartPost" which basically means it sits around for 3 days before shipping then sits in-transit a few more before arriving and then being handed to USPS.
Also, the product came with the wrong hardware. Metal screws instead of flat machine screws."

"Do NOT buy from this scam store. I ordered a couple of light switches from them. They charged me $12 for shipping which I thought was ridiculous already. Then a few days after I place the order I received a email claiming the stuff I bought was considered 'special item' and need an 'additional $9.99' in processing fee. Look at the reviews online it seems like this is a pattern and I'm not the only 'lucky one', there were numerous others who got scammed the same way. Shouldn't they know or do they know that which products they sell are 'special ordering items'? Of course they should, and of course they do! They are just using this gimmik to take more $$$ from you. First they lure you in with a low advertized price, then AFTER you placed your order and paid for it they send you an email to claim for more $. I believe this is already constitute fraud. If anybody know where can I make a complaint to please do point out. They should really get investigated on this. "

"They do not hold up to their advertised price and handling charges. WATCH out. They came back to me after they charged my credit card and said they would not ship the item unless I paid more. We went back and forth with email but they would not send the product at the price they charged me but they did refund. Do not fall into the trap of paying additional handling for their sale items."
"Firstly, I registered and it said it sent me an email with username and password but I never got an email. After a week I registered another email address as it wouldnt let me buy under the first email as I couldn't log in. I finally placed the order online as it was saying that there were numerous units available. After 4 days they send me an email telling me that it is special order and that it is an additional $15. I responded to them and said that if this is the case and that it had to be ordered and not in stock and it was to cost a penny more then cancel my order. I receive an email that said "we cancel your order and credited you". nothing more.....wouldnt buy from them if this was the only place on earth"
