"This is by far the worst vendor I have ever dealt with. After spending > $20,000 on servers, it took 3 months and 3 attempts for them to finally repair the defective server they sold me. To top it off they returned the server with a card removed which they refused to acknoweldge or replace."

"i purchased a chenbro rm312 3u rackmount case and a 3ware 9500-12 raid card. acme micro (aka 8anet) had the cheapest price i could find for both, plus free shipping!
the website ordering wasn't working, but the phone order went smoothly. i bought a bulk version of the 3ware card (no retail box, manual, cables, etc.), and the rep made sure i knew that i would need to get my own cables. when i called back the next day with a question about my order, the same rep (janet) who took my order answered, and she knew who i was before i gave her any details (i guess she recognized my voice?). nice service."

"I've order a Tyan motherboard and 2 AMD cpus. I've found out for a fact that my motherboard has been refurbished even if I ordered a new one. When I called them, the manager didn't believe me and just mention their market reputation as a defense. I haven't got a solution to my problem yet. I think this is a very important issue since this reseller is certified. This should be a proof of trust but on my end, I've find out that they do not deserve that trust."
"My experience with Acme Micro has been very bad. On June 6th I placed a $588 order (for a motherboard) with this company and received an e-mailed acknowledgement. On June 12th, curious as to when my order would be delivered, I checked the status of it on their Web site. Not only had the order not been shipped, but my credit card had not even been verified!
That same day I sent them an e-mail message inquiring about the status of my order. (Maybe their Web server did not reflect the actual status?) They did not respond. The next day, June 13th, I sent them another e-mail, asking them to please let me know if they intended to fill my order or not. Again, no response.
The dates referenced above are all weekdays, with no holidays. There is no reason for the negligent treatment given to me by Acme Micro.
Tomorrow I will call them on the telephone and ask them to cancel my order. They obviously don't want my custom, and there are plenty of resellers who do.
