"I bought via the web site, and found part of the process confusing. I entered a new shipping address, thought I had it right, and then ended up shipping the product to the wrong address. I don't believe the web site is built to the standards we now expect of e-commerce. There was no way to (online) change the submitted order. "Site was easy to find exactly what I was looking for, purchase was very easy, shipping was great. My new klein hard hat is better than all my hard hats that I've had in the past, it is so comfortable. The head band is a soft rubbery feeling so it actually fits to my head with no pressure points at all, the material of the shell is different it is abs and feels like a carbon fiber hard hat very nice feel to it, it is with the light that has 3 different modes of brightness and can be directed to where you are working like your hands or straight forward or a pathway, and may be if you don't need the light you just want to be seen by others for your safety you can put it on the back of the hard hat to caution others of your presence like changing a tire on the highway or installing electrical on exterior of a building and there's a grader or petty bone working on site. the one I got is rechargeable really nice, it clips to the hard hat by sliding it into it's molded mount, and can be taken off just as easy with

"I expected the Ego equipment I purchased to be reconditioned, but I did not expect to receive very old batteries. I expected the batteries to also be reconditioned, but after checking the serial numbers with Ego: they are some of the oldest batteries. I expected to at least have the newer reconditioned models, which Ego also confirmed their should be plenty of. Acme however sent me some of the OLDEST batteries still in circulation. When I contacted Acme they said they could not allow me to send the batteries in to have them swapped out with the newer (yet still reconditioned) models. Extremely disappointed. Will not be purchasing from Acme again. I checked with my local Lowe's, Home Depot, and Ace Hardware: and they all have the newer (but still reconditioned) battery packs with their reconditioned equipment. One of my local stores (don't remember if it was HD or Ace) even offered to let me swap my batteries purchased through Acme with them for the newer models. Acme would not do this. Lesson learned. Will just go to my local stores from now on for all my equipment and accessory needs. I highly recommend staying away from Acme Tools."

"I ordered the Milwaukee M18 Fuel 2 tool combo (hammer drill and impact driver) which comes with 2 5.0 batteries and charger. It was the exact same price as the big box stores AND it comes with a free Sawzall! Can’t beat that deal. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff at ACME too. They took the time to find me just one 1 1/2” hole saw blade and arbor so I didn’t have to buy a whole kit, saving me money, gotta love that! I highly recommend this company for serious deals."

"I visited Acme hoping to go home with a bench top sander and discs/belts. Nothing was in stock, so had to order online. Sandpaper has arrived, Rikon sander has not.
The salesman at the store was somewhat less than helpful. He was clueless as to the difference between Rikon models and couldn’t find info on his computer. I ended up sitting there and finding the information online myself.
I’ve bought a lot of stuff at Acme and generally I’ve been happy with my purchases. However, this is not the first time that the sales staff have been rather uninformed about what they are selling."
