"I will make this a two-tiered review. First, I will say that the Aeorgardens that this company sells are great. My mom bought one for me for Christmas and ended up getting two for herself. We love them and they come in different sizes to suit just about anyone's living space. You can grow different veggies, herbs, greens, or flowers with minimal work. It's almost foolproof if you follow the directions.

The manufacturer's web store, however, is abysmal. They sent me an e-mail ten days ago stating that if I used their standard shipping to buy my mom a small Aerogarden model that she'd wanted for her room, then delivery would be guaranteed for Mother's Day. I read the e-mail minutes after it arrived, and I thought it would be a good deal. I then checked their website and the model (ladybug) that she wanted was, according to them, in stock and ready to ship. They said to give them three days to fill the order. Guess what? Still not filled.

I e-mailed customer service and they admitted to me that their warehouse is in a different state so they have no idea what happened to the order. I guess there was no way for them to call the warehouse and ask. So, here it has been 10 days and they haven't even filled my order, so needless to say it hasn't even shipped out.

I am not really happy at this point and I plan to call them on Monday. The standard shipping on Aerogardens is free, so I'm not sure what recourse I have, but they should not have guaranteed arrival by Mother's Day if they couldn't come through.

The other Aerogardens we have were ordered from Amazon. I strongly suggest going that route.

May 11 update: I called them and that did the trick--it was put out for shipping today. The order was placed on April 28. They still have no explanation but I'm just glad it's resolved.

May 14: I finally got the order today. Everything's in good conditoin.
