"I should have done my homework. The reviewer who said DON'T BUY FROM THIS OUTFIT!!! is right. NO ONE answers the phone, no matter what time you call. The answering machine on the eight ring sounds bogus. Returned e-mail, forget it. I almost feel this company DOESN'T exist. It's going on 2 weeks and nothing. This is the FIRST time I've got burned. All my other shopping experiences on line over the years have been more than satisfactory. I will make sure I do my homework next time into reading REVIEWS.
10/06 You really have to be patient with this company. The product finally came and IS what I expected. VERY pleased with the 4 inch foam mattress pad. Its just that affordable-beds could improve on their public relations. "
"I finally received and email today indicating that my order that was placed on 9/2/06 has been cancelled and my credit card was credited in the amount of $280.37. I had sent several emails and phone several times. They never responded. After reading the reviews of other customers, I realized that this is not an honest company and investigated how to get my order cancelled and receive a credit on my credit card. I sent them an email stating I was going to report them to a fraud agency and notify my credit card company if I didn't hear from someone today. I hope this message can be displayed to let other buyers that have had a problem they should do the same. The online Internet Crime Complaint Center is "IC3". I intend to let this agency know that other buyers have had problems with this company and maybe get them off the internet.

"I went with this web-site because they had, by far and away, the best price on the bed I wanted. I e-mailed them and was told it was in stock. Two weeks after I ordered I got a tracking number, and two days after that I'm enjoying my bed. I'd recommend them as all my e-mails were answered and they even promptly refunded the tax I was charged at checkout. I usually don't write reviews but there isn't much on the web about this site so I thought I'd share my experience."
"The other two reviews posted on this company weren't very good, but I decided to try them out anyway because they had the best price on the bed I wanted. I asked questions via email and phone, and figured that worst case scenario is I get delayed a month or two and simply dispute the credit card charge.
Being impatient I did have to contact them to get a tracking number, but was able to do that with one phone call. The web site said the bed ships in 2-3 business days, but I was told it's more like 3-5. I received the bed 9 business days after placing the order, which I thought was pretty good. The only complaint I had was that the picture on the web site displayed the bed as dark brown, but it turned out very black. I wasn't too surprised, since it was listed as "wenge" but that's definitely one of the drawbacks of internet furniture shopping. It's great for the selection (vs driving all around town), but the drawback is that you don't get to see it in person. That can be significant, but overall it was a decent experience."
"I ordered and paid for a bed frame from affordable-beds.com on 9/05 online. after 2 phone calls and 2 order status inquiries I still have not hear from this company or recieved my bed frame.I would not recommended this store. Their customer service is really very bad you pretty much speak to the same person, they don't answer any question you have and they just lie to you they tell you one thing and when you contact them again they tell you something else. they are not that well organized, no commuciation from ordering to the warehouse to shipment and the are really slow on returning your MONEY. BUYER BEWARE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! "
"This company is a part of 'fastfurnishings.com'. On June 25, I purchased a Powell Ontario bunk bed for $359 shipped. Shipping was supposed to occur in a few days and take ~2 weeks to arrive. On July 11, I called to find out where the bed was, got an answering machine, and when they called back, they said shipping had been delayed until July 19. Ok. So, July 20, I get a tracking number, but when I click on it, it is for an entirely different item for some woman in the midwest, ie. not my order. So, I emailed and called again and got no response for a week. I called again July 25 and finally got someone on the phone who told me that my order had been CANCELLED on July 11, because they no longer dealt with Powell. I asked when were they going to bother to tell me? They apologized and my card had been refunded (it had already been charged, although the bed never shipped.) This was a horrible purchasing experience: Customer service was unresponsive to calls and emails, they cancelled my order without telling me, they sent me a tracking number for someone else's order and wasted a month of my time. Plus, as of July 25, the bed was still available for purchase on their website! I immediately ordered the bed from another seller and it arrived in good shape in 2 weeks. "
