"I have purchased a few wall hung gas boilers from here in the past. The price was great, service was decent, shipping was always a bit of a problem but I could live with that at first, it kept getting worse. A boiler I purchased a few months ago the shipping company refused to drop it without a signature (I have a job 2 hours away, I'm not going to wait around for 10 hours in case they want to deliver it) and AF refused to remove the signature required or comply with an E signature. I ended up driving 4 hours to pick the stupid thing up at the shipping hub because of this. Fast forward to 15 days ago, I ordered another one and although the shipping quote was $160-210, they charged me $275 for shipping (used to be free) and said they would refund the difference once it shipped. Okay, fine. I explained what happened last time and requested it gets shipped UPS instead of LTL (at whatever cost, didn't care) so I didn't need to sign, the person I was talking to said that would be just fine and agreed to do so. It took a week and 9 phone calls to finally get an answer about my overpayment of shipping, and I was told they paid $348 so I would not be getting a refund, nor was I supplied with a tracking number or freight company. This struck me as odd so I checked with UPS and that package would have cost $93 to ship UPS. 4 more phone calls and I was finally able to pry out of somebody that it was shipped Roadrunner for some reason. So I called Roadrunner (still no tracking number) to figure out what was going on and found my boiler was lost. Nobody had any idea where it was. 4 days later it was finally located (by me making a couple dozen calls), sitting in a Valley Cartage warehouse. After another 4 or 5 calls it was determined that they would not deliver without a signature, so another dozen calls to AF Supply to have that signature waived ended up fruitless. FINALLY talked to someone with a brain at Valley Cartage, who told me that there would be no problem delivering it without a signature on 6-20 (yesterday, 14 days after I ordered it and paid for 4 day delivery). Then yesterday I get a call from AF asking if I wanted to waive the signature, that it was requested by Valley Cartage. Um, YES, I have asked for that 100 times! Welp, I got home from work late yesterday and there is no boiler. I need to install this thing tomorrow so I absolutely needed it today (6-21), so I call right away this morning and ask what the scoop is, and am told it was already delivered yesterday. Yeah no, it was not delivered yesterday. 7 more phone calls to everybody and their brother, I am told it was delivered at 11:04 AM today. Cool, thank you Valley Cartage. SO I arrive home this afternoon and it is in fact on my driveway, UPSIDE DOWN, with the box all mangled as if they just tossed it out of a moving truck on the way by. Seriously, the pallet was on top of the box and I took several photos to prove it. I opened the box and it appears to be mostly unharmed thanks to the huge pile of foam that HTP packages their equipment in, but shame on everybody involved including myself. To sum this up; I was charged $182 extra for shipping, I waited 15 days for a 4 day delivery, I made in excess of 50 phone calls and wasted several hours of my time doing someone else's job, and received a very poorly delivered product. All because AF Supply is an absolute horror story to work with, from start to finish. A year ago they were great, but this experience was bad enough that I will NEVER spend another penny here. You should be ashamed of yourselves"
