"I purchased the 16 x 20 x 1 MERV 13 Pleated Air Filter on Feb 6st and received them on Feb 8 or 9th. I placed the new filter in on the 10 or 11th . It’s been two weeks and I still have a lot of dust and what looks like fibers coming through the air ducts. I was hoping that the new air filter would catch this. I just checked today (02/24/2017) and my air filter is really dirty. I have replaced it with another MERV 13 filter. I am hoping that what was on the air filter I just replaced is just old stuff that was recycling through the system and that the second filter will stop the dust and fibers. I have only been in this apartment since Oct 18th. On January 18th I had the air ducts professionally cleaned with the Rotobrush system because the air ducts in my last apartment were filthy. So I am perplexed with what I have to do to stop the dust and fibers from coming through the air ducts. I ordered the MERV 13 filters thinking it would do the job. Is there something better out there? I am going to watch for the dust and fibers and check the filter in two weeks and see how it looks. Hopefully I will have a better review next time.

"Delivered on time and intact. Just had my vents and ducts and entire AC/furnance cleaned due to black mold. I selected these filters because of their rating (13). I know that we are now enjoying the cleanest air free of spores, allergens and dust. We're all sleeping better due to breathing cleaner better filtered air. Due to the odd filter size 16 3/8 x 20 1/2 x 1 I am glad to have à great source to order from because you can find these at Home Depot or Lowes."

"I am use to filters that have wire mesh adding support to the media. This has none, just extra cardboard that I am sure restricts full flow of air. Not happy with these and will not order again."
