"True, they have a lot of stuff, and true, often what we need that is not available elsewhere. HOWEVER; they are horrible with refunds and credits. They NEVER do it the first 3 times. Always takes several calls to get credited for parts that have been returned. The call that "floating your dough". Banks do it for a living; you or i would be arrested.

They continue to suffer from horrible customer service. This time an AOG part was delayed 7 days with no notification because of THEIR mistake.

I'm done, never again, fini, adios muchacho. I just spent 20 minutes talking to their PR specialist; she called me, to resolve our differences. Nice conversation, all resolved, everyone friends......until she sent me to accounting to clear up a double credit they had issued 6 months ago without anyone being notified. Still no problem until they wanted to charge me $3 for a "processing" fee....to process the correction to THEIR mistakes. Done ....i can buy parts at 40 other places.
Chapter..pick a number;
After 21 months....that is correct.....i now get a bill for the credit the issued last year. Do they ever stop screwing up?
Note: in that time we have spent over $8000 on parts for our 2 acft.. We could have spent it with Spruce...we didn't."

"I inadvertantly ordered 2 of a coax crimp tool. I needed to return it however for some reason Aircraft spruce online system will not allow this. I called customer service order line and was rudely denied and she refered me to a return policy. This is a non consumable product that has not even been opened from the box since there was 2 why would I need to open box #2. I am simply returning a duplicate order. I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars tha with Aircraft Spruce over the years with my airplane and to experience this was rather suprising. They didnt even care! Aircraft Spruce has certainly gone downhill. I would recomend looking other places for your aircraft needs. Use California power systems or Lockwood"
"I've recently created an account and ordered about 50 items from these guys. 8 of these items have taken over a month to receive. I keep getting the run around on waiting for the inventory to come in and or we will check on this for you with no follow up. Needless to say I have cancelled a couple of orders and will be going elsewhere anytime I can. It's very sad because Aircraft Spruce has good pricing and their website shows a lot of all what we need in one place but unfortunately it is very misleading and they don't stock alot of what they should and when they don't it takes forever to receive the items."
"I ordered a Redline Sidewinder from Aircraft Spruce. The cost was over $1700 for this piece of equipment. I received the equipment on a Monday and waited until the weekend to open the box when I was at my hangar. The item was scraped and the paint was damaged.
I called them on Monday morning to return the item and they refused saying I should have contacted them immediately! How can you ship a damaged item for so much money and then refuse to take a return??
This is a terrible company with awful customer services. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone."
"As most pilots I have been buying from AS for decades. I have never returned anything until a few days ago. The part I bought was advertised as suitable for my airplane but was actually made for a different one. So far they have refused to own up to their mistake insisting that 'I should have checked'. How was I supposed to do that if their own customer service told me the part was approved? The PMA that came with the part lists my serial number!
I am currently waiting to hear back from them. If the issue is resolved I will adjust the review. As of now the plane is sitting idle as are my students."

I complained to the customer service representative and was facing a wall...... She said that TBA was written beside shipping cost column. I verified, that's right, but it was not obvious when I ordered.

"Horrible service i ordered a drill that was a us industrial in the picture and they sent me a klassic air tool angle drill so when i contcted them to say it wasnt the same drill as in the pic they told me it was exactly as ordered and changed the pic on the site to the klassic air tool. I sent it all back for refund and they only refunded me 30 dollars out of 415 and when i tried to contact them via phone or email they never replied. "After spending $23,000 with this company in the last 9 months alone, I find myself without any customer service, and refuse to buy another item from this company. I had to return an audio panel because it did not work out of the box. The only return I have ever made by the way, its not like i make a habit of sending things back. I sent to the address they said, sent it rush mail which cost me a bit more, but thats OK. Only to have them hold it until they get enough items to ship to the U.S.. They informed me they save money by shipping in bulk like that. So my plane sits gounded while they save up enough returns to to fill a truck!!!!!!!!!
