"I grabbed a large amount of items, some new, some used, some guns, some gear, some ammo. A LARGE amount of specific things and it required me to make the order by phone. Customer service was great at helping me get my order together. Very patient and helpful for sure.
Quality of everything was great. Just what I expected. Just what I wanted. Only one error took place where one item was back ordered and they didn't advise me beforehand. I called them back and they simply replaced that item for another item of similar style.
Both orders arrived very quickly and I've been very satisfied with my experience. I recommend Airsplat now to all my friends and family."

"The people that work there are excellent and so is their products. I have been going through other online airsoft stores in the past but however have not received the same service as I did at airsplat.com.
First of all they have price matching, which is an excellent feature to have if you are an impulse buyer. Second is they ship within 24 hours of you placing your order, the last place I went to shipped out a
week after they "processed" my order. Finally, they are located in California which is only 2 states away from where I live, always a plus.

"Quickly put, Airsplat.com is terribly run. I ordered a gun on a Saturday and I expected it o be shipped Monday first thing in the morning with the "Ships in 24 Hours" gurantee in mind. I got an E-Mail WEDNESDAY saying the product was out of stock and a suggestion for a similar gun. We quickly replied saying all required info and approving the order to ship the similar gun. That was Wednesday night, but the new gun didn't ship again UNTIL MONDAY THE NEXT WEEK only to arrive Monday the week after that! After having a fun 2 days with it, it's mag broke, the mag release didn't function well, and the bipod fell apart. I'm reluctant to send it back for the fear I won't get my money back or be forced into exchanging it. Terrible support at best and I would have appreciated an E-mail a couple days after I received my product asking if I was satisfied with shipping and the overall performance of the gun.
EDIT// (APRIL 13, 2010) Recently I have received the replacement magazine, although again a week later than expected. I very much appreciate the calls from the company and I will no longer warn others of bad service. However, be cautious, contact them if you have problems right away, and remember local sporting goods stores carry great guns. They usually never show the good ones online but I have previously gotten a 420 fps (0.2 bb's) airsoft gun from my local store for around 140$."

"My son picked out a HFC G17 Gas Blowback Airsoft Gun Pistol for his birthday present. We received the gun in a timely manner but he was unable to try it out right away. The gas valve adapter did not fit and I was surprised to find that there would be a 15% restocking fee on a $3.95 item. Once the correct adapter was order and received he tried the gun and was only able to get off three shots before the gas ran out. We thought that the green gas was old so be purchased another canister. Come to find out, the problem was not with the gas but with the gun magazine itself. Upon contacting Airsplat, we were told that it is now out of warranty. The cost for a new magazine is $34.00. Too bad the gun didn't work in the first place! The customer service person said he could send a courtesy warranty check to the warranty department and if they agreed, they would fix or repair the gun. My son spent $85.00 on this gun, too bad they don't have a better warranty policy. Stay tuned and we will let you know if things get resolved.
Update; the gun was returned via warranty, upon receiving the gun back from Airsplat we found the problem was not fixed. They did not note the correct problem, they say they filled the magazine with gas and let it sit over the weekend and there was no leak. upon contacting the company in person their customer service was very poor. I was told i had to email support, so i did on 3/26/10 and have not heard back yet!Finally got the gun problem solved. Received gas and instructions on filling gun and now it works. To bad they did not supply instructions when we first contacted them."
"I am thoroughly disappointed with AirSplat. I ordered a Classic Army Steyr AUG A2 from them along with a few accessories. The item arrived with a broken cocking handle and a couple of broken plastic pieces that fell out of the stock. Its apparent that AirSplat does not inspect their shipments at all or may even be reselling returned/defective product.
It's especially disappointing that this was meant to be a birthday present to be used for an airsoft party. Now the party will go on without having the new AUG to celebrate with... thanks AirSplat! You really bring a bad name and contribute to a lack of confidence to on-line ordering.
UPDATE: 3/22/2020 - Worked with Sebastian to resolve the issue. Damaged item was promptly returned with full refund. Sebastian was easy to work with and kept his word. Apparently, the issue stems from the lack of QA from Classic Army."
"2/23/10 - I placed an order for $160 and although I applied the discount code, I did not receive the free shipping as advertised. I have contacted the company numerous times, by both phone and email, and they promised 5 days ago to refund the shipping costs I was charged, but they have yet to actually refund it. In fact, I was told just today that my refund has not even been processed yet. Although I am a repeat customer, I will not order from them again. Their website screams "Free Shipping" at you and then they make you apply a discount code (and you can only apply one per order, right?) which doesn't work most of the time. This sort of business practice leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
2/25/10 - Still no sign of my refund. We received our latest shipment today, including flyers advertising "Free Shipping!" but no mention of a price limit or discount code you need to apply."
"Before placing an order with this website I had looked at reviews and thought aside from the occasional error, this would be a decent transaction.
I am sorry to report I have not had a satisfactory transaction. I placed the order with a separate billing and shipping address (as I am rarely at my home address during business hours of UPS deliveries). My order was set to be delivered when I saw on UPS that they could not deliver the package because no one could sign for it. I thought this was odd since my office is always staffed during business hours.
I called the company to find out what happened and they told me that they can only ship to verified billing addresses and that the policy is clearly stated on their website. I went through the order process one more time to verify and found that no where did a warning occur or any notification that this was the case. I asked where the policy was stated and I was told it was on the policy page. I looked at the page, its on the 46th line! Far below a lot of other text.
In order to have the package sent to my correct address (which was originally requested and on my order confirmation) I had to pay $11. Personally I consider this poor service and a very bad way of conducting business.
I recognize the importance of policy and this particular one, however, they did not do an even moderately adequate job of notifying me (the customer) of this potential problem. Do they think that we just sit at home waiting for things to come to us?
I think that this problem occurred on their side and they should refund me the $11 and they should make it much more clear on their website through the ordering process that this is their policy / may occur. Honestly how many people click on the policy link and read it all?
I am very upset by this experience and would personally not recommend this site. Their prices seemed competitive but many other sites price match, and let's be honest, with so many options these days retail is all about the service you receive. And I felt this was not customer focused service. This is their chance to turn me from an angry customer to happy and loyal one, but based on this experience thus far I don't see that happening.
UPDATE # 1 2/22/2010
I finally received my package today, the intercept was screwed up on UPS side (which I won't blame on Airsplat). I checked the box and the sticky target I ordered was dirty and the box was falling apart/opened so I think it was probably a prior return. One of the mags I ordered was just floating around outside of its package. Overall I'm a little disappointed in the attention to quality of the packing. People like to receive new things right? try to make it look new even if it isn't.
Overall, not a recommended seller. This being my first experience with an airsoft retailer maybe this is the standard, but I expect better from a retail merchandiser.

I was contacted by their customer service department regarding my experience, which is comforting to know that they do pay attention to their feedback and take inputs from their customers. This makes me feel a little bit better about the merchant, if they're not proactive, at least they are reactive. I still think problems like this should be resolved before escalation point, but at least it was resolved to my satisfaction. For their efforts and because I'm an honest consumer, I'm willing to upgrade my review, but I reserve the 5 stars for the proactive merchants who resolve problems before the point of escalation, and put the customer before their own needs. Hopefully my future interactions will get them there."

"I ordered two guns before Christmas. One for me and one for my son. One has been great and the other was broke when I got it. I sent that back and got this gun. It took quite a while, but I understood that you were
busy for the Christmas season. The next gun I ordered (JG AK74) was broken in the box as well. The flash hider had a broken tip and was missing the broken piece.(made me wonder if I was sent a used gun) Then when I went to put the
battery in it the cover piece broke. Thin metal and a strong spring. I called and arranged to send this gun back and it took forever to get the confirmation email with the RMA #. Then I had to call 4 times because I was not
getting the email from UPS with the link for the UPS label.FINALLY I spoke to John who took the time to look into what the problem was and he found out that someone had fat fingered some information and the email address was wrong.
That was corrected and I am STILL waiting on my new gun. I have had friends buy 7 guns and have had great service.
UPDATE. 2-12-2010 I am VERY happy with the service I have received in the last day. Sebastian from Airsplat called and went out of his way to make sure that my order was handled correctly. Due to the problems I had which had more to do with China made products quality control then Airsplat, he worked hard to get my new gun sent out and I even ordered another 2 guns. He is making sure I get my order by next weekend and he was going to open the guns up and inspect them before they are shipped. If that all happens and the guns are working... this is a quality company that can be trusted.... if this doesn't happen, I will update this next week."
