"Keeping this short, in spite of all the NUMEROUS really bad reviews on sites I found from google, I decided to give AJRichies a try anyway, blinded by price.
The were offering a Sony RX100 camera for $540 (vs. the $650 everywhere else).
The numerous reviews warned of getting used stuff, getting dinged with huge extra charges, and simply getting orders cancelled and never shipped because the client failed to purchase extra accessories.
Happily, my experience was nothing of the sort.
My only slight complaint is that it took over 2 weeks to get it, but the wait was well worth the savings.
The other item of interest was that they sent a Japanese model rather than a US one, which worried me abot the warranty, so I called Sony cust service and they confirmed that there would be no problem fully honoring the warranty since I purchased it in the US, and in fact, the fact that it was mad ein Japan (unlike manyof the US models which are made all over, many of which in China), was actually highly sought after, so was actually a positive, not negative.
Further, I decided to use the money I saved to purchase an extended 4 year warranty.
I never buy extended warranties, but in this case, such a nice camera, and the fact that such items only last me about 2 years before something wares out on them... I decided to get it.
Bottom line, I'm glad I followed my "Jewish" instincts to save money instead of listening to all the horrid reviews which from my one time (so far) experience, are simply not valid."
"I placed an order for a Nikon D5200 with AJRichies. Within a day or two someone called to review my order, they were very helpful. I had not purchased a digital camera before and therefore had not thought through the battery or memory card issues but the gentleman on the phone talked me through. We also discussed the carry case I wanted to order. The salesperson told me that the small deluxe case would fit my camera and the additional lens I was ordering. However, when my order arrived it was clear the case was big enough for the camera and the standard lens but there was not enough room for the second lens. So I contacted AJRichies again and spoke with Alex at ext 203 and he agreed to send me the larger case right away to replace the smaller case. Alex was very nice and understanding and prompt with his solution. Aside from the hassle of not getting the right case the first time my overall shopping experience with AJRichies has been a good and I plan to shop here in the future for camera supplies.
I would just suggest that the dimension for the camera cases be available either online or to the sales associates with some guidelines on what can fit in these cases, it is hard to make a determination from the information available online. "

"July 3rd 2013: I ordered a canon R400 for my wedding. I liked the sale they ere offering a free battery and a double memory card. The total cost was $369.89
July 4th 2013: "Eddie" called to confirm my order. advised me the card was the wrong type but could upgrade me to the right one for $20. I confirmed with Eddie the cost would then be $389.89 He agreed. He also said to off set the change he would upgrade the shipping to Fedex with a tracking number.
Later that day I received an email with the tracker.
July 6 2013: Package came Fedex required signature. The invoice is for $439.99. Needless to say I was surprised, as I was assured by Eddie what the total would be.
July 5 2013: Called AJ Richies. Spoke with Steve. He advised me that the order was upgraded to the US model and the card was upgraded that was the difference in price. I advised him I never agreed to the change in the camera only the card. He said I could either return everything (which I'm not doing) or he can send me another card, the 2nd battery that never came, and a card reader. I did agree to this . I also advised him I would give feedback as to how this went and I do feel it was a bate and switch situation. I am happy with the camera and still is a better buy then going to a local big box store and purchasing the product."
