"I do not know how this company can get a good review. I placed my order on October 24th. It was verified and confirmed on October 28th at 2:00 PM by a phone call their salesperson, whoe told me that the D800 body was in stock and that I should receive it in 10 to 14 business days. It now has been 21 days since the verification and conformation and I still have not received the merchandise. Today I waited 40 minutes for a someone in service to answer the phone and no one ever answered. I have sent two emails requesting order status. To date A J Richie has not answered the phone, nor have they responded to my written requests for order status. Certainly can't be concerned about serving the customer."

"Ordered a camcorder on August 31, 2013. Didn't hear from company until September 11. They called with an attempt to up sale. Fed me the line about battery and stoarage not being enough, and that I needed to upgrade. I told them no, and that's when they told me the equipment was back ordered and would arrive in 4 to 6 weeks.
The call was my red flag. I went online and found that I had been scammed. I'm usually so careful, and I let my guard down on this one. Cost me $340.
I have called several times--stayed on hold one time for 40 minutes. Spoke with a representitive once who claimed I would receive camera in two weeks. I didn't. There was another time that someone actually answered, but I was placed on hold and no one ever answered after that.
Sent several emails, the last asking for a refund. AJ Richies has never responded to any of my emails.
IT HAS NOW BEEN 9 WEEKS, and I still have not seen my order or received an explanation from ajrichies.com.
At this point I can only assume that they have stolen my money.

"The site was professional, I placed my order without any troubles and I got a confirmation e-mail almost right away. After that I heard nothing for about a week. I finally got a call asking if I wanted to purchase any accessories with the camera(Canon 60d). I said no and that was that. No response to my e-mails or phone calls since.

"Ordered a Canon T5i from AJ Richies, got a call with a high pressure sales guy with a bait and switch, trying to sell me a $150 battery, then an American Canon;, not the Japanese Canon camera they priced, then tried to convince me to buy a T3i instead for a very uncompetitive price. I told him that I would have to call him back before making a decision. He cancelled the order. They were never going to sell a T5i for the price advertised."
"I ordered back on 9/6, they called me trying to upsell- then week after week, no camera. Finally I made a complaint to the BBB. Ajrichies answered the first time BBB contacted them, then no response. I called on 10/31 and a guy answered stated he was the phone vendor and the ajrichies was going out of business and his contract was ending 11/1. He told me to dispute the charge, over $600.00 with my cc company. AJRICHIES IS A SCAM. I will be writing to the Attorney General for NY and the Brookly DA s office. I kept being told it was on back order estimated ship date was so in so then never recieved it. The last time I called I said you have gave me estimated ship dates several times and I still dont have it. He said well your order is canceled then and hung up on me. "Just awful...ordered a Nikon camera on 9/27/13. I got an immediate email confirming my order and indicating I would get it in 10-14 days. After that did not happen, I called customer service & was on hold over 20 minutes. When I spoke to a rep they were very vague and stated I would get it in 7 days. Still no camera. I emailed the company twice, no response. I called numerous times and now I can't get through customer service. I was on hold for over 30 minutes several different times. I called sales and explained to the guy I can't reach anyone in customer service, and he hung up on me. DO NOT BUY from this company. As of today on October 2nd you failed even to provide a tracking number, and lied to me multiple times on deliver dates. I called you at "Toll Free: 1-***-***-****" tow time on October 1st to confirm the cancelation which I sent to you by email on September 30th, and you hanged up on me right after I said the magic word "cancelation".
After read the numerous negative reviews of ajrichies.com, and the "F" rating at BBB, I came to the conclusion that you never intend to deliver anything, you are running a total scam operation. I also want to inform your that I have asked the credit card company to cancel the transaction, I do not want you use mine or credit card company's money to support your scam operation."
