"After 20+ years, it was time to replace my hardwired alarm control panel. So, I tried to purchase a new control panel from the company that had been monitoring my alarm for the past 14+ years (ADT) but was told they would retain ownership of any equipment I purchased through them, which I found unacceptable. Then I spoke with Hayden at the Alarm System Store and discovered they cater to DIYs like me! Surprisingly, Hayden took the time to first understand how my hardwired system was configured, then he enlightened me on the benefits of a hybrid hardwired/wireless system for which I was unaware of. Hayden then shared his thoughts in a way that I could understand on a setup that would accommodate all my present and future needs. As a practical matter, Hayden also encouraged me to watch their videos about the setup he was recommending, which I found very informative and confirmed in my mind that he was spot on with exactly what I needed. Then to top it all off, the Alarm System Store had an additional service available that could program the control panel and keypads to fit my specific needs! So, all I had to do was hook up the control panel and keypads like was explained in their videos, power up the system, and set up the user codes. Now that’s what I call a DIY friendly company and why I would highly recommend them to other DIYs like myself! Lastly, I ditched my previous monitoring company, which I found unaccommodating, and signed up with the monitoring company that the Alarm System Store partners with. To say the least, I am one very satisfied and thankful customer!"

"My old system which was installed by a professional alarm company went out. Since the system wasn't in production anymore, they wanted over $5,000 to install a new one plus over $80/month in monitoring charges. Though I've never installed my own alarm system, I was referred to Alarm System Store by a friend who said you can do the install yourself.
I purchased a new DSC NEO and added on items I didn't have before, such as remote access with Alarm.com and wireless sensors for leaks. To prep and learn, I watched the various videos that guide you through the installation process. With this knowledge I was able to fully install the system in 1 day. I had a few questions along the way and reached out to Alarm System Store's technical support team. They were always ready to help and guided me through some of the finer points of setting up the system.
Overall I'm very pleased and ended up saving a substantial amount.

"Excellent service. Order was placed and delivered quickly. Ordered whole system which, on delivery was found to be defective. Called their support line and was advised to send whole order back and Hayden Able helped me order just the right parts to assemble a system tailored to my exact needs. In addition the system will arrive pre-programmed for my rather extensive, existing, house wiring.
Hayden was extremely helpful and professional. I have sent him the info on my 25 zones and when I receive the system I only have to contact my monitoring company and they will walk me through adding the special info to connect to their system.
Alarm System Store made the updating of my very complicated system smooth and easy.

“It was $14, but in any case you selected and chose the shipping method with the cost being provided to you before you ever checked out. We didn't just bill you some unknown charge later. Why are you upset with us about this? You placed the order online yourself.
We provided you a tracking when ordered, but I will provide it here as well. 92055901755477000495554116 Package shows still in transit, enroute but is running late. Transit times for all carriers are starting to slow down due to the busy season. I'm sorry for the delay, but there's just not much we can do about it other than to ship products expediently, which we did do. A 1 star review seems very unfair when we did everything we were supposed to.”

The Support person "BILL" was very kind and validated that the System Sensor 4WT-B is a direct replacement. I have received the product and now have to replace each one. Refreshing, that Customer Service still exists in USA!"

P.S. BTW, you didn't choose a guaranteed service such as overnight or 2nd day so the carriers don't promise a specific day of delivery and only provide an average estimate. ”
