"I purchased the Aurora™ System from Alienware right after christmas and I am extremely impressed! I built my last computer and thought i would never purchase a pre-built computer but after buying from Alienware I can tell you now, I will not be building another computer again. I plan on purchasing another model as soon as this one is paid off. I can tell from being a builder myself that they went through great efforts to make the machine be able to perform to its greatest ability. For the price, the tech specs on the hardware inside is more than i could ask for. I enjoyed looking at all the uprgrades for the machine on their website as well. I do nothing on my system but gaming and the occasional photo viewing and it is clear that the purchase I made was a smart investment in my gaming lifestyle. I would strongly suggest anyone who is fanatical about online gaming, casual gaming or just hardcore computing to take the time to spend their money wisely and get the most bang for their buck, and alienware is deffintly the route to go.

I play a plethora of games and just about any demo i download or game i purchase, my computer has absolutly no problem in running it. Everything is smooth and as i said before.. Absolutly no problems! "

"I got the M17, I had to go kind of middle of the road (Money you know) with only 1 video card, 4 gb ram and a P8600 chip, this thing is wild, hunting games that I thought looked like a joke on my other 2 computers, and I thought it was the software, well on this thing it looks almost real. I can't tell you how bad I wish I could have got the loaded M17 notebook, mine is way more computer than I am use to. it is so worth the money I spent on it. not to mention how cool it looks. by the way I am not a kid (in my 40's) and I'm not a gamer, I just like the power of a real computer, and my Alienware M17 takes care of that job. (very well I might add) if you like powerfull and fast computers get one of these!!

"I purchased the Area-51® m9750 laptop and was very pleased with the way the order went. If you want a laptop customized to the hardware of your choice Alienware is the way to go. I would buy from Alienware again and like the fact that I could have Windows XP installed instead of Windows Vista. The Area-51® m9750 appears to be very well built and should serve my needs for years to come."

"M17 for X-mas?.. After reading some other reviews about Alienware and their unusually long build process I finally decided to just go for it. If these guys were going to build me a notebook and test it for any issues before shipping, it would be well worth the wait. I ordered my system on Dec.28 and received it on Jan.9th. I couldn't believe it was out their doors so fast and at mine in about 12 days, especially around the Holidays! Anyways, I started up the new M17 notebook and it is truly is a beautiful piece of work and electronics. It runs like a charm with Vista Ultimate x64, 3870 crossfire, and 4GB's or RAM. I have issues with some games though, such as WAR Online... the screens image starts to shake.. not sure what is causing it but I will contact Roswell support about it. Other than that I'm running COD4 with no issues. Also Tomb Raider: Underworld looks and runs awesome with the M17 dual radeon cards. The cost of the system had me a bit uneasy, but after I opened that box I was very happy with it and Alienware!"

"The M17 is meant to impress. This is THE solution to a desktop replacement. The performance is outstanding and looks amazing. The only downside was that it does not have Alien FX lighting-only the keyboard has 3 different colors. With Crossfire, Quad Core, and 4 GB of RAM-this system blows way benchmarks for laptops and most pcs."

They have a great communication process and really kept me up to date on the whole process. My M17 and Odyssey pack arrived super well packaged and in perfect shape. I just purchased an alienware m17. I am happy with it so far. It is much faster then my desktop as it has crossfire dual ATI cards and dual processors. It loads Maxthon(a multiple tabbed internet explorer) so much faster. I can get 15 websites open in the time it used to take to open up a single webpage in internet explorer. The only downside so far is that I can't connect video output to my older TV. The m17 has coaxial input, hdmi and vga output. My older TV is non high def and has only standard RCA jacks and svideo. Even with a radioshack vga to svideo converter, I couldn't get it working (with helpful alienware support tech). I guess I can still use my old inspiron 8100 when I wish to link to my older Tv or just get a new big screen

"Ordered M17 laptop and an Orion bag. The order took longer to build and ship than I had hoped for but it was over the holidays. I sent feedback to Alienware regarding the separation of my order into two shipments which required me to be at home twice to receive the packages, but otherwise the process was smooth.
The computer itself is really quite nice and has many very cool features. There have been no problems with it so far. It looks great, runs fast, and the fingerprint resistant case is just terrific. The Aliensense Face Recognition needs a bit more manual intervention than I would like, but that's very minor.
Other than that I am very satisfied with my experience with Alienware and would recommend them if someone wanted a nice high-end machine."

"I thoguht when i purchaced my new AlienWare pc it was going to be "just another modest computer". Boy! Was I MISTAKEN! this computer blows away all other PC's i have ever looked at or even dreamed of! Out of the box I said "OMG! IT'S A MONSTER!" then I hooked it up and "BAMM" into windows right away. Super fast and it looks really cool too : )
But seriously, I love it. it has been the best coputer buy in my lifetime since the mid 90's.

"I Received my Aurora last December. Wicked PC, overly priced. I have ever gotten over the price when I opened the case for the first time. If there is one thing people should really be concerned about there pc is the PC Case. I found the Aurora Chassey to be Big, The fact they soo much room for upgrading it made my day. Why buy crap when 3 years down the line your old case can;t even fit the new parts?
