"Initially, I was worried because it took more than a week to progress to Step 2 in the ordering process. I had ordered the 48-hour notebook hoping for fast service and spending more than a week to arrive at Step 2 (in a 9 step process) did not bode well. Plus, I tried twice to contact Alienware by email to inquire but did not receive a reply to my first query. All pretty nerve-wracking when they're holding around $3,000 of my funds. However, the next thing I knew, I got an email saying my notebook had shipped and it arrived in 2 days. I was able to track the package all the way to my door. Everything arrived in perfect condition--beautifully packed and the notebook works and looks better than I expected. I think Alienware would do well to improve that first contact with the customer but once past that hurdle, everything went perfectly. "

"Within a week and a couple of days, my new Alienware M17 laptop arrived at my doorstep. The unboxing was fantastic, plenty of extras to make the moment that much more memorable.

My laptop has been used for about 3 weeks and it has been incredible. I've got a recorded 11,357 3d (06) Marks and it runs extrodinarily cool compared to laptops in its class. For 2000 bucks I have recieved an AMAZING gaming laptop!

The customer service, the couple of times I have contacted them (for payment reasons prior to them processing my order) was adequite. Both times, my question was solved, though the first time the representative was hard to understand.

"During the month of December I purchased the Alienware M17. It is currently the only PC I have at this time. I researched a lot to find the laptop it I would want to be using at least the next 7 years. I found the power of the Alienware computers would fit my needs and I love there unique design. The M17 came to be my final choice I have yet to have any problems aside from the fact that the hard drive I ordered can not hold the amount of media I need but that is because I will be receiving a 3.5 TB external hard drive soon. The online ordering was very simple but that's a must considering there is no retail store to make the purchase. Overall I am very impressed and will definitely be making another purchase in the future "

I ordered my Alienware and I did a lot of research about it since there were a lot of different opinions "out there",but I liked what
I saw and also compared prices and Alienwares prices are very good and compared with a competitor.
The exact same config. I bought from Alienware, was nearly $350 more expensive from this other place.

It went through the Phases at very good speed, only a little stop at Phase 3,but then it went no time to the last phase and I got my X58 in good time, before Christmas.

The computer worked top notch out of the box and it was very well packed and arranged in a good manner inside the box and I have so far "thrown" a lot at it,but it is lightning fast and works super, no crashes,no hassels, just top notch."
