Although my order had some issues getting through the initial stages (likely due to my credit card being from Canada), all of the telephone support people were extremely helpful and friendly, and helped my order proceed immediately. It was all smooth sailing from there, and my order was done in a matter of few days.

They even shipped my order overnight, which was a nice gesture.

I absolutely love my new laptop! It works great for both work and my gaming. The quality is excellent, and it looks absolutely awesome. My family has even commented on how nice it is, and they don't even like computers.

"Where do I even begin? The contact online agent is amazing and gives professional feedback. Emails were answered same day in most instances. Shipping was as expected when I received the shipped notice, packaging was top notch. Box was damaged by carrier but due to the excellent packaging nothing was damaged inside. I will definatly buy again. Love the ability to send unit back in to do updte work when new hardware comes out. Computer was set up exactly as I requested and the credit line allows you to make 2 forms of payment. Everything I could ask for was made available. What more can you ask for? "Shopping online for my Alienware system was a blast. I wanted a high end gaming system so Alienware was my first choice. Customizing all of the features for my Area-51 m9750 was a lot of fun and really exciting knowing just how good the system was going to be. The system came a day earlier than expected and was a very welcome surprise. The out of box experience was great. The system is top of the line and sure performs like it.
I have two issues with the system that are negative (among the many many positives). The first is the really weak battery life. Fortunately it's not a big problem because I have it plugged in 95% of the time. My other issue is the system has crashed several times while playing games due to video related issues. Luckily the system is so fast it reboots really quickly and I'm back playing in no time.
I think the crash problems can be fixed with drivers and such so thats not too big of a deal.
Other than those two issues, however, everything is great. The size of the monitor is extremely awesome and so is the clarity of it. The touch-pad mouse with the scroll section is really convenient as well.
All in all I think the system is great."

"I ordered my Alienware Area-51 m15x on September 15th 2008 and it arrived a little bit earlier than I was expecting. I was amazed with this computer right when it came out of the box. Just the looks of it alone were impressive. First thing I did was load a few games onto it to see how it could handle them. Crysis looked fantastic and played smooth. I also loaded in a few older games I had and was able to play them on the highest settings with absolutely no problems. I also use this laptop for working online for my company's web site and it is noticeably faster than other NEW laptops and desktops I used before. At first I thought Alienware's prices were a little high but with the quality and service you end up getting it is well worth it."
